My experience has been getting worse over the years. I have a $47 wellness plan and took in my cat for possible UTI issues but they weren't positive. Didn't send home pain meds for my cay despite him crying every time he got up. Then, after a week of it not getting better, on a Friday I I tried to get an appointment for that day or Saturday. They told me to take him to the emergency vet....$345 dollars later at the emergency vet. I understand that they are understaffed...I have to question what they pay their staff to make them so understaffed.

They did a good job helping my Carnation. She had rough spots under her fur. They prescribed her a steroid and she is much better now. No more spots

Switched over to Banfield due to the subscription program that in total cost as much as a single dental cleaning from other vets and it included more services than that. I was happy with them until recently.Dog got his teeth cleaned by them in August (3rd time with Banfield) and told everything looks great. Month later (couldn't get back into Banfield sooner) found that 3 teeth were bad. I questioned how it got bad in a month as dog teeth do not just instantly turn bad (which they themselves said) but didn't really have an explanation - just that it happens. They did say I would need to pay for another teeth cleaning before they could pull the teeth because the tarter has gotten bad in just a single month. I agreed to upgrade my program to include another teeth cleaning (which I should not have done as I am stuck for another 12 months with them) and scheduled him to get it done about another month from them. After leaving and talking with friends and family this experience didn't align with them and made them question cost, process, and if they were telling the truth.I took my dog to another Vet and they said they would caught this back in August if they did the cleaning cause teeth just done go bad in a few months. Also indicated that some doing dental cleanings don't work the plaque as well as other which could have caused this in the short turnaround time. They also said another teeth cleaning was not necessary for them to pull the teeth. I was able to get into another Vet faster and cheaper than Banfield and they had to pull 10 teeth.Overall I don't want to knock the Vets and employees at Banfield as I think they truly have the best intention in mind to help the furballs. However I think this is likely part of the corporate policy / procedures.Personally I am no longer confident in at least big procedures or actions from Banfield and will just keep paying my subscription fee (they won't let me cancel) until it runs out but will be going to another Vet moving forward.

Dr. Kelcy Kava is the best and my dog Derby loves to see her! He also loves McKenna. If I could give them six stars, I would!

Shannon and McKenna are extremely unprofessional. They are very disingenuous. They had multiple opportunities today to tell me that my kittens appointment was at three instead of 330 when they told me multiple times that I could bring him in at 3:30 when I picked my other cat up from her cleaning. However, when I was 10 minutes away, they called and said that the appointment was at three and I had missed it and now he cannot get a second dewormer. I will never go back to this Appleglen Boulevard. And it is solely because of Shannon and McKenna. When I told them, I would be filing a complaint McKenna said they all come back to me anyway and I won’t do anything so I would highly look recommend the office before you go here, or avoid going here entirely as long as they are employed. I’ll have to schedule and take my kitten for another shot. I have been able to get his today or we should’ve been notified it was a different time. If I could give zero stars, I would.

Ever interaction I've had with this hospital and everyone working in it has been very professional. They all genuinely care about the animals they treat.

So I never had any issues with banfield until recently. I have been taking my pup and elderly pup there for vaccinations and regular check ups. My elderly pup is ten and recently diagnosed with diabetes. Since being diagnosed at banfield i have decided he will no longer be going there. They have answered nothing. When I called to get answers I was told I would get a call back to if I should take my pup to the hospital. I received no call. No answers to any questions. The last appointment he had for a curve I couldn’t pick him up myself so I had my husband go in my place. I put a card on file with them prior so that he wouldn’t be bothered with having to pay. He said they almost refused to give us back our dog until he payed. I had put a card on file that morning. On top of that the vet had no time to come in and explain the care being changed to my elderly dog. Just that his units went up and they would call. They haven’t. I called. Couldn’t talk to a vet. I am done. My dog will get the care he deserves. I will not be treated like trash while trying to care for my dog. If I could give less than one star I would. Y’all are lucky I haven’t come in and raised a scene. Hades has a new vet appointment next week. They’ll contact you for his paperwork.

HaHa! The Banfield animal clinics inside the PetSmart are the worst! This location was no exception. Over worked, under staffed and unhappy acting employees. But we only needed a refill of flea and tick meds

This review is one generated by emotions/feeling because I have not actually received services as of yet and actually cancelled our initial appointment... I was deterred because I felt that my puppy and I were treated awkwardly, as if we weren't welcomed to a certain degree. I could have misread the young lady's demeanor and facial expressions as well as her lack of enthusiasm when she saw me and my puppy. I was given a brochure, which she made sure to point out payment options and any other needed information. I just felt judged and unwelcomed. I even mentioned to her that I'm a first time pet owner and I'm still trying to figure everything out. I can say, that she assisted in correcting my puppy's harness, as I did not have it on properly??♀️ he was so afraid, being his first time inside of PetSmart let alone, a vet clinic, that I had to carry my 4.5 month old, super heavy puppy, who is a red nose Pitbull mix name Finn, into the store ?To sum it up, I'm sure they are great and maybe that lady was having a bad day, but in any customer service, human or pet, you should ALWAYS render services with a smile or not approach customers until you are able to do so... I was offended but other customers returned my joy by loving and praising my puppy. I forgive that lady and again I could have simply misread her, but I couldn't shake that feeling of her not really wanting to help me??♀️ I just feel like I rather have a vet where all of the staff treats my Finny boy with EXCITEMENT and LOVE each and every time we walk through the door so that he and I both feel welcomed.

The Vets, the Vet Techs are always good with both my animals. They give us options on when things need done now, or can wait a while. I like that so we can save up money to have the proper care done for our fur family. Excellent work always.
