Andrew was great... no pressure and was a good experience. I hate buying cars from dealerships. But this time it was good. My credit sucked and I didn't have a lot of money for a down payment. He worked with me and got me into a car that I am fall6in love with... thank you so much

Bought a $20,000 car, wasn't given any options for a warranty. Had troubles with ABS, brought it into barts to be serviced, they did not fix the problem and told me they replaced the harness for the fog light message......surely didn't do that because the wiring is spliced and taped together on both sides. Come to find out the CV Axles were busted and leaking grease everywhere($2,400) ball joint on front suspension were bad($650), strut needed replaced($400) and the PCV valve was bad which wouldn't be a big deal if BMW didn't manufactured in a way that the only way to replace the PCV valve is to replace the entire valve cover($325) Needed transmission fluid change, front and rear diff fluids needed changed($600). At the end of the day I paid $20,000 for a car and immediately had to spend an additional $4,000 in parts to fix the car because they sold it to me with numerous broken components. I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND WASTING your hard earned money with this company, they won't even respond to me about these problems now!
Also having VTG transfer case faults, still working out the details on that but it potentially has a bad transfer case which can easily cost $5,000-$10,000 to fix(confirmed, this car company sold me a 2018 bmw 330i xdrive with a bad transfer case actuator and burnt clutch pack estimated repair cost $4,000 on top of all the other broken parts, DO NOT BUY A CAR FROM THESE PEOPLE!!!!!)

I have purchased a few vehicles through Barts. My recent purchase was a beautiful Camaro. I worked with Corey. I still had a truck I had purchased from them and I was still paying the loan. Corey got me approved for my Camaro and paid off my truck loan that was still over $8,000. I had my Camaro for less then a week and it went into limp mode. I was so heart broken. I called Barts and they made arrangements for my car to be looked at. It ended up being a bad throttle body. They agreed to pay half for the repairs eventhough they were not obligated because it was sold as is. In the end Corey called me and said that they are covering the cost which was about $500 to replace the throttle body because it wouldn't be right to have me pay for any repairs for a car I just purchased. Always ask for Corey!

They helped my family and I out with a low mileage vehicle for a very small monthly payment we are very appreciative of this car store 15/10 recommended. We ended up getting the vehicle inspected as well and everything is perfect. They are a very honest car store

We recently purchased a used car from Bart's for my teenage son. The car we initially went in to look at was no longer available but we were shown a couple cars that were within the price range we had. The car we ended up purchasing suited our needs just fine. The car does need minimal work, but we were given some referrals to local garages that we can contact.
And we were able to stay in our price range.
When we are in the market for another used car, Bart's will likely be the first place we look at.

Paid to much for a truck that was advertised as rust free about a week after driving the coating started flaking off of the frame and found lots of the frame completely rusted through ,, I confronted them about it and was basically told that it was sold as is , I guess beware it’s left a bad taste in my mouth

DO NOT GO TO BARTS CAR STORE
My salesperson was Troy (nice at first, but once I had issues was brushed off many times!)
They will try to push you out of the warranty they offer, extremely shady!!! I am currently having to file a complaint with Indiana Government Attorneys Office and even having to follow up with lawyer to settle the situation with the car they saddled me with, DO NOT RECOMMEND, WORST CAR EXPERIENCE I HAVE EVER HAD! AVOID AT ALL COSTS! They literally are playing with legal lines to sell their cars.

We loved Adam from the Illinois store in Fort Wayne! He was awesome, found a 2008 Lincoln MXK in super great condition for me, we test drove, financed and drove away in about 2 hours (which is amazing!) and that was 3 years ago! And it’s been a great little car for me!
Thank you, Adam!
We’re going back in a few weeks to get another, as our son starts driving soon!
:)
Super service, great little car, fast deal - Adam got us, understood what we needed, and took great care of us! Can’t wait for the next car!
:)

Totally took advantage of me 3 years ago. Bad business taking advantage of people not too knowledgeable about cars or the process. Will never go back and will never recommend your dealership.

Spoke to Adam, the store manager regarding a concern I had at the Columbia City location and he brushed me off, said that he could not help me, or direct me to anyone that could. Bunch of egotistical dirty sales men at both locations.

Buyer Beware!
I purchased a used vehicle from Bart’s Car Store and unfortunately had a very negative experience. The dealership did not disclose that the vehicle had a severely rusted frame—a serious safety issue that should have been communicated up front. While the sales process was smooth, the lack of honesty and failure to stand behind the condition of the vehicle was unacceptable.
I expected a fair deal, not a hidden problem that now requires costly repairs or makes the vehicle unsafe to drive. I would advise anyone considering a purchase here to have the vehicle fully inspected by a trusted mechanic before signing anything.
I can’t recommend Bart’s based on this experience.

I recently worked with Troy and some of the other guys at the Fort Wayne store to purchase my Sierra. After a 4 hour stint with my first Dodge vehicle before my engine blew, I’m back with a General Motors truck thankfully. Very communicative and helpful from the time I started searching for what I wanted. You’ve got a new returning customer. Thanks guys

Fantastic place to shop for a used vehicle! Reid, Jason, and Caleb worked with us to get a car we wanted that we could fit within our budget. Everyone was friendly and no-pressure. They listened to what we were looking for and didn't try to steer us in some different direction. Highly recommend!
