Easy reservation set up, reasonable pricing. Short wait at counter for both pick up & drop off. Car did have some trash left inside from previous renter and car was not cleaned well on exterior prior to pick up. Gas tank was full, which was a huge plus! Was charged for gas even though tank was full when returned. Evidently you have to turn in a gas receipt to not get docked a min of $16.99 + tax. However the desk clerk checking me in did not mention that. After my deposit was not fully refunded, I had to call customer service to get the reason and they refunded the shortage.

The desk people were mediocre. The car was a total POS. It looked like it had been through a demolition derby. It had a horrible vibration which was probably caused by the cheap Chinese tires they had put on it. The car had a nasty clunking in the back end and when you hit a bump the car wanted to dart in the other lane. Also, when you accelerated the engine shook heavy. Oh and the interior was stained severely. All the seats and headliner looked like someone smoked and drank in the car. I called the desk to let them know that it had issues and they said they would just note it in their system. I’m not asking for a perfect car but for the price you pay you should receive a vehicle in better condition.

Apparently this location will not let you rent a vehicle if you are an Indiana resident and do not have a credit card. I personally don't like credit cards and refuse to have one.

I always pick Budget for value and price. Never pick the cheapest. Don't believe me look at line and mess at Dollar when you get a car at the airport.

I rented a van to drive to SC from Indiana. no air. had to return not once, but twice due to being given another vehicle that had check engine light on and a door that wouldn't open.I was told I would receive a partial refund ( returning all these vehicles MORE THAN ONCE, taking hours) and never got it. I will never rent a vehicle from them again- terrible customer service and vehicles are not maintained. When I inquired back about when I'll receive my partial refund I never heard back

The 1st van we got reeked of smoke. It was so bad we all coughed every time we got in. Had to be on phone with multiple people to get help to see if we could switch it out. They said didn't have another van and we're told we could get a free upgrade. 20 minutes later they had a van for us but it was filthy. Didn't have time to return it. No discount given for the issue.

0/5 stars, WORST car rental experience EVER! I travel a lot, but this was my first trip with two little kids. I reserved car seats only to 1) have them not available at the desk and someone had to "go get them" offsite apparently. 2) When they returned they were COMPLETELY unacceptable! (Broken, could not CONNECT to the car, NOT safe) just WOW. I had to go purchase my OWN carseats in order to just rent their car!? Why offer something if you plan to give illegal options to parents! I think this may be a local news issue so this does not happen to another parent coming out of state. Apparently Budget does not care about child safety!

After my flight was messed up by the airline, I turned to look for a one-way rental and Budget Car Rental stepped up to fill that need. It was a last minute rental that went extremely smooth. Best part was that I was able to rent a vehicle that I was thinking of buying, so I was able to get a long test drive. The pick-up and drop off went smooth and the staff I had contact with were knowledgeable, took the time to answer all of my questions, and made sure I understood all of my options. My only hiccup was when I needed to change my drop off location. The first phone call was going well until I was put on a kind of hold only to wait more than 5 minutes to only have silence on the other end and I had to start over with calling to make the change. Once I made it through on the second call, it all went fairly smooth in making that change. Thank you for making a stressful situation much less stressful.

I would give 0 stars if I could. Worst experience ever. We rented a van months ago. Went to pick it up last Saturday (June 10th) to be told they do not have a van and offered us 2 different smaller suvs. I asked if they had anything at their other location and he said they had a wagoneer that we could have , and that they would honor the original price since they didn't have what we booked. We get to the other location where she 1st tells me they will not honor the price, then we have to pay almost 1000 dollars more. Then tells me that they don't have it. Then she proceeded to tell us she had a van but that we had to pay hundreds more for that. Then said she didn't have it. Then they tried to put us in a rav 4. We had 7 passengers plus luggage, obviously that won't work. The original location is now closed at this point. After an hour on the phone with customer service we ended us getting a dirty Traverse. It had gas , but the inside was not clean at all, and we had to pay 200 extra dollars for it. Supposedly I will be reimbursed for the extra 200 but we will see. Horrible experience. We will NEVER rent from Budget again. Steer clear of this place, and there complete lack of customer service.

Please immediately reverse my charges, Dawn even gave me a receipt saying because of the trouble it is zero, charge but you charged by credit card. This business practice is not only deceitful but against all ethics, You must reverse my charges, for the old, dangerous vehicle you gave me, despite of multiple complaints to your call center and to your Rep at the Counter.

Rented a luxury vehicle for my niece semi-formal. Got a flat on my way to pick her up. Spent hours trying to figure out if and where to tow it to. Shopping for a replacement tire because it could not be plugged, huge hole. A tow truck came to help because I had no tools to remove the cover for the tire. Only for him to tell me there is no spare tire. No spare tire in a 2021 cadillac xt5?!? Stress level is on 1000. Then to find out I didn't have to pay for anything!!

I love your Warsaw location and Budget/Avis all together. Fort Wayne Airport location let me down. I had a reservation for 9AM. I was greeted with “we have nothing ready or available at this time you’re going to have to wait” your attendant didn’t ask my name or anything. I continued standing there as other customers were helped. My growing angry and frustration grew after an hour. I approached the counter again. Her reply, “yes sir, what is your name for check-in” I gave her my name and she tells me my vehicle isn’t cleaned or ready. I ask if anything is available? “Yes, a small suv for the same price” which makes no sense due to me renting a large suv. I was already waiting close to 2 hours at this time so I accept. Your agent handed me the keys and said it’s at A10 go get it. I proceed to a10 without her accompanying me to do any walk around. The gas was 3/4, the windshield had at small crack, the seats were filthy so I call and report these issues to only be hung up on. I finally get these issues reported to a cooperate number so I’m not at fault. POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE. I’ve never been so ignored and degraded by a customer service rep

On March 9th, 2023, I flew into Fort Wayne International Airport. The Budget Representative, Dawn, at the Fort Wayne International Airport was rude, and non efficient. I requested an economy car, to which the representative wanted to give me a Ford Mustang and a Pick up Truck of some sort. I was very confused. I waited over an hour while Dawn was calling around to investigate about some car that had been missing/totaled a few days prior. Dawn eventually called some guy to bring keys up. He had many keys. The girl that was working with Dawn the whole time finally just picked yes from some bin. Offering me a pickup truck of some sort. This whole time the airport was dead. Finally, I got a Ford Ecosport, which had tape running on top of the window, the door side panel was some what off, and it was dirty inside. I walked in and spoke to the girl, not Dawn, and she said she will make note of the defects. I didnt believe she would because they had gotten busy, so I called Budget myself. I told them about everything wrong with the car. They gave me a case ID number. The Case ID number was 54248513. I will not be using Budget in the future.
