I've taken vehicles to this place a handful of times over the years and it's true that he does great work- but I guess I won't be taking any more vehicles to him because of our phone call the other day. I called to see if he could remove the paint from the exterior of my father in laws truck, he was all about it until I mentioned it had already been detailed somewhere else and they failed to get the paint off. Then he switched gears and became rude and told me he could do the job but would not. He told me to go to Ziebarts and hung up on me.

Owner is incredibly rude on phone and disorganized with scheduling. I did not take my vehicle to him.

Guy is rude. He might be cheap but refused to take on a job when he is the one that quotes the price.

BEFORE AND AFTER PICTURE ARE AMAZING
I ran over a pink spray paint can that had been previously blown up in the middle of the road, tried to avoid it, got it all over my back bumper, trunk, etc. Tried every type of solvent could not get it off did everything i could for 2hrs. barely got any of the paint myself. I went to 3 different detail shops in fort wayne. I can name drop all of them with the prices they quoted. (QUOTED IN PERSON NOT OVER PHONE) Vital Wax Detailing & Restoration 0/10 review. Quoted me $250 to remove the paint & that’s it. 1469 Super center In person quoted 175 but included full car not bad 7/10 really busy place The final place i took my car for a quote was C & M Auto Reconditioning 🔥🔥 Final place i decided on. Quoted me $85 for the paint to be removed and whole exterior to be detailed 🔥 I couldn’t believe it. The first impression walking in this one guy Jim the owner, had 3 other vehicles he was working on, he was taking calls doing it all. He told me he didn’t advertise anymore and rarely had new clients, i left him a voicemail though and he listened to it and said he had to see the car asap! because spray paint is very bad to leave on your car. I explained i could be there in 20 minutes. I pulled up, we looked at the car he wanted to do it as soon as possible, we scheduled for 8:00am the next day, I showed up and left him the car for about 3 hours and at 11:00 i showed up, to my surprise all the pink paint was gone, it was looking better than when i had first bought the car in may. We talked a lot and he explained to me that he has been right here in fort wayne at the same shop for longer than i have been alive (im 22) this guy has seen it all and more i wouldn’t lie to you every car i need detailed etc is going to this guy i recommend you guys do the same.🔥🔥

I have taken cares to C&M for years and have ALWAYS been perfectly satisfied. Best price, best service in town. And my man, Jim, is a dog lover too. Everyone that I recommend C&M to, have been pleased and have returned with more business. That tells you all you need to know.

Highly recommended by a number of people to take their cars there. We just bought a new car and I’m going to have a professional detail and it came out looking fantastic very very great job good service owner takes pride in his work. Jim did a fantastic job will definitely be coming back and I’m gonna highly recommend anyone.

IF they answer the phone, they are already way too busy to take your call. So you get a "Thanks anyway" and dial tone. Save your time and effort, go somewhere else.

Took a car to him and he did a great job the first time.. second time I called for something basic and he turned me down because the job was small and something about for insurance purposes. Literally turned down $50 to wash outside and wipe down dash/console of a 2 seater car that’s in pristine condition.. a job that would only take 20 min

Horrible horrible service. Was asked to drop it off the night before. Came back 24 hours as requested to find him still working. Stood there for an hour waiting for him to finish. As much as he was doing in that hours time, I questioned if he had just started on it. Nothing was clean. Just oiled up. Door pockets and cup holders still had stuff in them. Came home to find I couldn’t open the hood of my car. Called to ask if something happened and he said he didn’t do it. When I told him that it would’ve been nice to know that the engine wasn’t done and I wasn’t pleased with the job, he accused me of stiffing him $37 (Which I know I didnt). Do NOT take your vehicle to him. Very shady.

Jim is the best at what he does and extremely honest. I had a chemical from a parking garage eating away my paint and he quickly helped me before it could cause more damage. My mom has used him for detailing and he did a great job.
