Had a good experience the other day I was in. I was looking for a cute outfit before heading out of town for an event at the SCAD film festival in Savannah. An employee, Amber helped me color coordinate my outfit and was very attentive. The customer service experience was great thanks to her!

I had dropped off clothing to sell. I knew that some things would not be taken. I understand the process. They did not take any of my clothes. Some worn, some out of season and not of brand. That's fine.
My complaint is for a company who takes ONLY high dollar name brands from sellers, should be taking the same attitude in their stores. This store is a mess. Looks dirty. Walking in reminds me of episodes of Horders. This store is piled up from the floor to the shelving and the racks are so packed you can't search. It is also dark and dingey
In my opinion if you take only high dollar name brands your store should display like it's high dollar store. Should present how you preach.

I was very disappointed with this shop... I took very nice Chicos clothing there and they refused them, said they were not resalable, and showed some wear!!!! I looked around their shop earlier, my things are very lightly worn, no wear and tear on them, i felt that they are above the quality that I seen in the store!!

Yesterday, I sold to both Uptown Cheapskate and Clothes Mentor. While my experience at UC wasn't negative, the staff on hand at Clothes Mentor were much more interpersonal and engaged with me in a more professional, kind manner.
I have shopped at Clothes Mentor for 5+ years now, sold with them a handful of times, and personally they are my go-to spot for thrifting unless I want to spend considerable more time sorting. Although I'm bummed they don't have a public restroom, the staff have always been kind and considerate toward me.
A note to sellers: If you're looking to make a considerable amount of money (like 50% or more of what you originally spent for your items) or you are hoping to sell all of your items, I highly recommend looking into listing your items on poshmark or ebay. Clothes mentor is a resale store, so they are selling everything at a discounted price. To keep their prices low, they need to make reasonable offers for your items that provide them a profit as well as the buyer a deal. It seems like many sellers need to adjust their expectations and may not have experience in retail or considering the profit margin.

Would not buy anything I took in. I had about 20 pair of shorts with the price tags still on them. Waste of time and gas to go there.

I used to be a big fan of this place until I tried to sell to them. I took in probably 60+ items (most never worn) & they only took 7. How did brand new summer outfits with the tags on them get passed up but I can buy a shirt from them last month that has a ton of holes in it. I even took in a pair of Torrid heels I had never worn that I bought straight from them last year, and they rejected it. $12 for 7 items to turn around and sell them for $12 a piece. I can’t even make sense of it. I get needing to make a profit because you’re a business but ripping off your customers is not it.
Definitely save your time and energy especially if you’re not in fort Wayne. I drove from out of town & it wasn’t worth it. If you’re considering it, don’t.

Great place to find cute clothes in good condition and vintage handbags! Only complaint is they rip off when it comes to selling to them. Only got $29 for skincare, brand new never used jewelry and 2 brand new hand bags after purchasing many purses from them over the years. Overall, great staff and a great place to find good deals. Still very much recommend when it comes to shopping for specific clothing and handbags.

lost all of our business. Refusing to let a little girl use your restroom is pathetic in every aspect. Regardless if you have a public restroom or not she’s a child and shouldn’t be told to walk down to Joanna’s to use a restroom. Never again! I don’t know anyone who would refuse a child to go to the restroom and make them walk down 6 stores resulting in them having an accident and being humiliated!

Took barely used Michael Kors shoes and bag among other designer items to unload. They didn't take a single item. That is the third and LAST time I will frequent that "shop,"

I bought a cute vintage bag online and it arrived quickly and securely with a cute handwriting of a thank you.
