My wife and I took the introduction to handguns class at Freedom Firearms. We felt this would be a good place to start as we have never owned or shot guns. The class and instructor were great. The class gave us the basics of different types of handguns and safe use of firearms. We were then given the opportunity to shoot six different handguns and different calibers. I would recommend this class to anyone with little or no handgun experience.

I have made a few purchases. I have overall had a bit of a love hate relationship with this place. For many years there has been some unfavorable people that have ran the place which ultimately led me to no longer do business with them. A while back I decided to visit again in search of a specific item and they had exactly what I needed. And yet again another search has led me back to this place because they have what I'm looking for and hands down they remain the most knowledgeable when it comes to questions or concerns. They will help you and go above and beyond to make you feel welcome and comfortable whether you are new to firearms or seasoned. They have a great selection and everything you need or want to get you where you want to be. Highly recommend.

Instructor was very knowledgeable and patient. My first rime firing a gun and I was terrified. With all of the information he gave us, it was a great experience. Went back, bought a gun and can't wait to learn more.

One of the best gun ranges in Fort Wayne, Indiana.
Walked-in here as a Canadian visitor. I was just visiting Fort Wayne, Indiana because of my family & relatives, and then I found this gun range in Google maps.
Worth the experience. (The shots highlighted as red in the Center was my initial shots so I had to readjust my aim to get the bullseye - 25 yards)
I liked the AR-15 that I got very much. Bolt is so smooth. I am just wondering what brand is this AR-15? Please let me know. Thank you.

The instructor Mark was a true professional who made everyone feel at ease and, more important, never stupid. He knew his subject thoroughly and was able to convey his expertise in a clear manner that was easy to understand. The time spent in the range shooting was surprisingly fun and a great learning experience. I highly recommend taking a gun class at Freedom Firearms if you want to learn to shoot in a safe environment. The staff is professional, friendly, and knowledgeable.
