After my husband was discussing what Gamestop benefits they are removing from the membership. The manager, in believing he was the smartest person alive, decided to become an arrogant jerk. Buddy, you're a store manager at Gamestop. You aren't a doctor, a software engineer, or something that takes intelligence. A teenager can do your job, get over yourself please. I've been a store manager an was never that way with my customers. Will not be visiting this location again.

I have been a Game Stop customer for 20+ years and today's experience at this store was the worst ever. I will not be going back to a Game Stop again.The man who was working identified himself as the store manager. He declined to process our transaction with funds we had available on our Game Stop rewards card. I tried to provide multiple types of identification, and he was not satisfied with what we had available. We have never in the past been asked for identification to use the rewards points that we earned so were not prepared for the request. I have been to this store many times prior to today and always treat the staff in a friendly manner, including today. He had no excuse for such awful customer service. I was actually in shock over the treatment I received and did not think to take note of his name.I do not plan to ever return to a Game Stop store and I do not recommend anyone visit this particular location. Most of the staff is fine, but the store manager has terrible customer service. Businesses who treat customers poorly, especially those who have been their customers, are where I want to spend my money.Additionally, I hope someone at the corporate office sees this review and removes the incompetent store manager at the Game Stop located at 6423 Lima Rd, Fort Wayne IN 46818.

Went to warranty a xbox controller, and cashier said I had to exchange for a used controller. Lied and said it was a new store policy. Went 10 minutes down the road to the one in the mall and had great customer service and got a brand new controller. Sorry I didn't warranty a $70 controller so I could exchange for $40 used junk.

The Asian Man here is really nice. Has knowledge on the perks rewards sign up real good. I believe he is the manager. He is one tough customer to say the least. Nice guy though. He will get a little haywire if you push his buttons. Don't sign up for the rewards he gets a little butt hurt (typical company man) hard worker though. His smart mouth you attitude is classic LOL guy is a lot of fun when he smart mouths you about something. He's frustrated not more People are signing up for Pro memberships I get it. Do you blame him? Not the biggest selection of games here. They damn near don't have anything and will send you to Glenbrook store 9 times out of 10. Get up on the pro rewards. No games to use it on LOL $5 off a month. I don't buy games that often and don't feel like I should be forced to buy a game to save $5 when the game might be a little overpriced to begin with. Or you walk out of there with a real clunker of a game. Save your dough on the Pro membership. If they got a game you want grab it and get the hell out. In and out.

An employee at this location called me to inform me that I could pick up my pre ordered game early. I drive 25 minutes to the store to be told she can’t release it to me until 9pm. I asked her how is that possible when they close at 9pm. Her response was we might be open a few minutes past 9pm. Makes no sense. I came back the next day to pick up the game and they told me they couldn’t release it to me due to the computers not recognizing sku numbers so nothing could be released through their inventory system. I understand computer issues because I work in retail. I asked if I could still get my game because it was paid in full and she said no unfortunately not because she can’t scan. So I asked if I could have a refund for it because I’m not driving up here again and she said yes. She then proceeded to pull me up in their system and refund me the amount of my game. If you can’t get any sku numbers to pull up then why are you able to pull up the exact amount you owe me for my refund? Nothing adds up.

Entire experience was dry and rude. From ordering online to it being cancelled and us having to go in store to purchase. Only not to be greeted by any of the three employees on the selling floor. The cashier was dry no bag was offered or given and no thank you. Not even sure anyone smiled. I definitely won’t be selling the device here if we choose to not like it.

The guys here have always been really nice and as straight forward as possible whenever I've asked for help. It's silly but as a girl it's a little intimidating to go into some n*** stores alone, and I get scared of being judged or condescended so it was nice to just feel like anyone else shopping there. I remember I was getting confused about preorder stuff about TotK awhile ago, and each time I asked about it in the weeks coming up they were really patient with me and upfront and consistent with their answers, great customer service. Even on Tears release night, the whole crowd that showed up and staff were very friendly. I'd definitely check this location out again

I don't normally do reviews but the guy there Jared helped me warranty my sons nintendo and it was the absolute easiest warranty process I've ever been apart of! This dude was awesome and I will for sure be returning to buy whatever I need game wise. Idk about the trade in stuff but I digital download everything so Jared will be my go to for all my hardware purchases!

Was able to get my grandson his Xmas gift...great customer service but should have more then one rep. When it's the busy season it was a little bit of a wait in line
