I popped the rear quarter panel (one piece with the bumper) on my '07 Lexus ES350. It was only insured for the other guy and hesitant to much money in this car. But, it looks good and runs great. I figured I would need to go to a mom and pop shop to have it put back together. I also had a $$ amount that I didn't want to surpass. Otherwise, it would be duct tape and gorilla glue. I had a great experience at Gerber by Glenbrook who repaired a dent and repainted on my then very new Acura TLX.
A beautiful blue car and they nailed it. Very impressed.
Talked to Justin in New Haven hoping for a miracle on the Lexus.
He looked it over and quoted me $75 to put it back in place and epoxy it (tabs had broken off). He admitted that it may not be perfect. As long as it wasn't flapping in the wind, I was going to be happy. They did an amazing job - it looks great. I was truly surprised that they didn't turn me away for a higher paying customer (you know, Insurance...). Gerber is 2 for 2, both home runs in my car game. They will always be my first stop for any vehicle repair, big or small. Wonderful, fair people at both locations. Thank you, thank you for a job well done!

I struggled to find a body shop to fix my 98 Sonoma. (Hard to find a good replacement 3rd door) The good people at Gerber took on the job without question. Everyone was very polite, plus, the quote was less than the competition.
Highly recommend there services. Top notch body work. YES! That’s the same door in the photos!

Don't go here, take too long to repair and poor repair work. Insurance recommend this place because it's cheap and save money for insurance.

I would not recommend anyone going here. They sent their mechanic work over to Alford’sThey had my explorer for four monthsI got it back started leaking on my driveway before I figured out what was going on. My transmission was leaking due to the accident. My turbo propeller was broken because of the accident now the insurance company don’t want to pay for it after I’ve driven it a while. I only give them one star because I had to

They do a bad job in my case, they changed the front glass on my car and the plastics that go on the glass were left unglued, pieces of glass from the windshield were broken and a lot of dust from the paste that they sanded from the hood over the engine was left uncleaned, the car emblem is coming off

My entire experience with this collision center was atrocious. To start, communication is minimal, and God forbid you try and get any elaboration or additional details. Up until the minute I picked my vehicle up, nobody could tell me for sure when it would be complete. I got answers like "should be sometime next week" and "hopefully next week". The completion date just kept getting pushed out further and further. Gerber had my truck for a month. This would have been fine, if they had done a good job and completed the work. I had rental car coverage from my insurance for a few weeks. So when the time was running out, I called ahead and told the receptionist when my rental coverage was over. She advised they would cover the difference, but I never received any additional information. The day my rental was due back to the lot, I called. The receptionist advised they can cover the difference, and told me Justin would be called me asap. This was on Friday the 17th. I waited and waited. No call from Justin. I called the rental car lot, they advised there was nothing they could do, and asked that I return the car by midnight. This left me with no transportation and a 45 minute walk in the cold at night. I called Gerber back on Monday and again spoke to the receptionist. I asked to speak with someone else, who could tell me exactly when my truck would be ready, and explained the situation. She said her manager was "right here" but wouldn't let me speak to him. They sent a rental to my residence, and completely did not acknowledge the problems they had already caused me. The receptionist was just making excuses about how it wasn't her fault, and still would not let me speak to anyone else. Finally, after more hassle, I picked my truck up on Wednesday with ~20 mins to go before the center closed before the Thanksgiving holiday. The truck was returned to me very dirty. As soon as I got it home, I cleaned it out. This took a considerable amount of time, and I still have a black stain on one of my seats, which were VERY clean when I dropped it off. My alignment is now off too. Afterwards, I went to a gas station to top off, as I was planning to travel Thursday (Thanksgiving) morning. I had a little over half a tank, so I could have waited until I got down the road a bit. Thank goodness I didn't! When I opened my fuel door, I discovered the fuel next was not connected, it was misplaced and misaligned with the fuel door under the truck bed! This left me unable to put gas in my truck, and this unable to go anywhere over the holiday. (See pictures). I spent my holiday unable to do anything, and went back to Gerber first thing Friday morning. I arrived just before 8am. The tech that worked on my truck greeted me in the parking lot when I pulled up. I told him I was very angry and frustrated, but he was very kind to me. He took the truck immediately and said he'd fix it right away. When I went inside, I asked to speak with the manager. It was Justin! The gentleman who never called me back about the rental car coverage. I explained all of my frustrations, and let him know what a bad experience this was. He called this an "oversight" and was very apathetic about the terrible quality of work. Admittedly, I became very agitated and raised my voice and cursed at him several times. I told him I haven't had time off of work to enjoy for a very long time, and he immediately started complaining that HE does not get any time off... So that was not something he cares about. He remained apathetic, did not apologize for the catastrophic quality issues, and even laughed at me at one point in the conversation. This was wildly unacceptable service. And this was not a small job. $9500 and you can't do the work correctly? I shared this with my insurance company, who had initially suggested Gerber Collision. They will be investigating as well. I also received the email address (but no phone number!) for a district manager. I will not let this go until something is made right. How can I tru

Everyone I had a conversation with, was professional & helpful & friendly. I had 2 estimates done with them. My insurance company totaled out my vehicle. I can't review them on how well repairs are done, but I will go back to them in the future, based on the good experience I did have with them.

I had a last second need. I called and they got me in the same day! While I was in the waiting room the staff were amazing friendly and knowledgeable about their service and the area. Overall, a very kind group of people. My car was done in no time and looked spotless, better than I could ever imagine. They definitely put the customer first. Pricing is amazing and transparent and staff are happy to sit and discuss the breakdown. I could not recommend this team more for any body or glass work!

Can't say enough good things about this place. Trisha was out of the office on the day she was supposed to give me a reminder call, so she did it this morning. Kelsey and Trish were both friendly, talkative, and professional. The service I received was expertly done, and took literally less than 10 minutes. Excellent collision work, my car looks like new and the alignment is perfect. The woman in the office with dark brown hair was extremely friendly and fun to talk to. And the woman with the black hair that dis my estimate and then went over repairs when I picked it up was also very very friendly. Good prices too!
