My son had his haircut here. Last time we went we had great service, so we came back to this location. My son is an early 3 years old and has minor sensory overstimulation issues. We waited inside for 10-15 minutes and he was a good boy sitting in my lap. He was so good for the first ten minutes of the haircut. However, once he got fidgety, my son was squirted in the face with water as punishment for blowing raspberries by the hairdresser next to us and when I told my son he shouldn’t be doing that, the lady thought I was talking to her and said “I just did!”. I immediately said “Oh, I was talking to him, trying to get him to stop with the blowing raspberries.” He just laughed because he thought they were teasing him because everyone was laughing. If they wanted his behavior to improve, egging on bad behavior by laughing is not the right method. He’s going to want to keep you laughing and continue to be sillier. My son was complaining of the hair getting in his shirt and itching his neck, but our hairdresser only wanted to clean him off once, so she kept telling him just a bit longer. Our hairstylist later smacked him with a comb on the top of his head for leaning his head back. Afterwards she told me it was $18. I then presented her with a $5 off coupon. She typed it in and I gave her a $20. She had given my son a choice of stickers just before, but he couldn’t peel it off so I stepped over to help him. It didn’t take long at all, but the gentleman behind me started being helped and stepped up by where my wallet was still out on the counter. She never intended to give me my change back. She gave herself a $7 tip, which I wouldn’t have done for the way my son was treated. I had to squeeze in front of the gentleman and the stuff on the counter to grab my belongings and leave. Haircut is nice.
