Had a great experience with Justin.. very helpful and thoroughly explained everything in detail. He made me very comfortable with the purchase and I would definitely recommend him and Grote Automotive to other individuals!

Extremely unprofessional staff. Went in to inquire about a vehicle. Staff approached me with predetermined prejudicial and possibly racial profiling. Now I already know my credit score which is 650+ but it’s not 700. Not good but also not bad. Staff then proceeded to waste my time by checking my credit only to tell me I am not eligible for any kind of help from Grote. Long story short the staff here lowered my credit score only to tell me they can’t help.

We went to Grote Automotive to get a car for my daughter and grandson to use so she could get back and forth to work and take her son to do things. We already knew what car we wanted. Josh Hall worked hard to make that happen. We waited patiently and our dreams came true. Thank you Joshua Hall and Grote Automotive for blessing us. ??

It's taken my a couple of days to write this review because the experience I had at Grote was honestly a bit traumatizing. I went in being up front about my budget and that I did not want to buy a car that day, just to start looking. At first the salesman was very kind and eventually took me on a test drive in a car he said was in my price range. Once we got back to the dealership he asked if I wanted him to get me information on pricing just so I knew what to expect and I agreed. From there, he informed me that the car was more than double my budget and when I said so, he continued to increase the pressure. When I continued to get frustrated and kept saying no, he sent in his manager. After several times of saying no to the manager to the point I started crying and asking for my car keys back so I could go home, he sent in yet another man. While I was still crying and asking to be able to leave, he continued to tell me I just didn't understand. When I started to have a panic attack, he then asked me if I wanted to test drive other cars that might be cheaper. Only after I refused and continued to beg for my car keys back did the original salesman come back with my keys and try to hug me.It shouldn't take a woman crying and begging to leave for an hour to be given HER OWN KEYS back. I felt incredibly unsafe through this situation and am very concerned about the way women get treated here. No means no and it's upsetting that at least THREE men that work here don't understand that.

Tim has been an excellent help, he has made us feel comfortable, indulged my husband and myself on our constant questions. Then he even threw in some extras for us, which wasn’t necessary but just showed how good of a company they are to buy from.

This company texts me 3 times a day every day for weeks now because I registered to their website. I finally give them a chance to sell me a vehicle (2017 BMW X5) which the sales rep over the phone told me they have several on their lot so I drive from Mishawaka all the way to Elkhart to see and test drive them only to find out when I get there that they don't actually have any BMW X5s in stock. This company are liars and tell you they have something on lot when they don't they are just trying to get you to their lot to sell you something else. Don't subscribe to their website unless you want spam calls and text messages through the day every day!

I was very pleased with my experience . My sales person Justin was absolutely wonderful and Brandon in finance went above and beyond. Great communication from both. I am in Missouri and purchased a brand new car, they helped tremendously with getting it shipped. From my experience I would definitely recommend.

I wouldn't recommend going here. It was high-pressure sales telling me my credit was bad, which it wasn't awful it was 620, which is considered fair. From start to finish, I felt bullied by salesmen they didn't give me any chance to have it looked at first. It wouldn't even let me leave after they told me I needed 500 dollars down. Even though no money down was advertised. I told them I'd have to wait because I didn't have it that day. They pressured me into calling family to beg for money. I ended up getting it from my mom and took the car home that day. After hours of harassment only to discover, they gave me a car on an empty tank of gas, needing an oil change, and a full service. It also has electrical problems and water damage, which wasn't disclosed. They saw I was nervous because this was my first time since getting my divorce, applying for a car loan on my own. A friend with worse credit then mine went to Gates got a newer car for no money down and a better interest rate. I don't think they help as much as advertised. I feel like they are just taking advantage of ppl who need a car and don't know how to finesse it and are scared of the big companies.

Like a well oiled machine! I’ve been through a ton of car dealer/purchasing experiences over the years and Justin and the team made this one the most seamless and pleasant by far! And even though I didn’t get the car I originally came for, we drove away with something we absolutely love! Thanks Justin and team!

I had a previous experience at the place and wasn't impressed. However, this time I left happier than I ever had been when purchasing a vehicle and I loved that the crew made sure everything was up to par with it. Thank you Fred Grote and Justin Harmon for being the amazing people you are!
