Dirty old rooms. This is the dirtier and outdated Hilton I had been!

Perfect location in downtown Fort Wayne. With many places within a short walk. Food, music, even catch a Tincaps game. Rooms are very clean, perfect attention to detail.

First time here. The hotel looks like old. Rooms are very roomy, it has everything you will need for an staying. My room was a little bit dusty and refrigerator smelly. The Heather was making noise all night. For me, nothing to much uncomfortable. Breakfast was very good, they have a section for eggs as you like, very good variety of fruit, sauce and bacon.Walkability: I came for business and it was very convenient for me to stay here, I just walked. There are several restaurants around.

Nice, beautiful hotel in downtown Fort Wayne. Priced quite exceptionally. I spent $128 on a king deluxe room that was equivalent to a studio suite with a sofa, end tables, coffee table, and two chairs. My old fashioned at the bar was only $12, and my grilled cheese and tomato soup were only $12. I went the “gift shop” to buy a bottled soda, and it was only $2. My room had a small refrigerator, microwave, walk-in closet, and a large bathroom where the vanity was in a separate room from the shower and toilet. One light was out, and it appeared either the refrigerator didn’t work or was unplugged. The sheets were crisp, and the bed was comfortable. You can easily park on the street for free between 5 PM and 8 AM. Service could have been a tad better. While it wasn’t bad nor rude, the front desk clerk seemed a little flustered and not the warmest person. The attendant at breakfast never greeted me. I went to get my food (had to ask her if I could go ahead since she never came over). She eventually slapped the bill down without saying a word.

I'll cut to the chase- the Hilton downtown employs, at the front desk, some of the rudest, least helpful people I have ever had the displeasure of dealing with in a "hospitality" environment. Not only do none of your questions matter, but your very presence will be treated as an inconvenience. As a Fort Wayne resident, I am embarrassed that this is likely the first impression many will get from our city. I would sooner sleep in the car than agree to spend money to stay here again.Edit: The front desk manager was very lovely. After learning of our experience, she went out of her way to assure us that this is not the level of service we should expect and is not accepted by the hotel. By the time we left, we felt very comfortable and valued as customers (which is all we wanted from the start). We will certainly be returning.

I am actually currently staying here. The first room we got was so filthy we had to call the front desk because it didn’t look like it was even cleaned. I usually don’t complain much, but upon using the bathroom I looked in the shower and there was literally pee splattered everywhere with pubes on the floor and clumps of hair. Stains are everywhere and the furniture is old and dingy. They gave us a new “upgraded” room but it’s actually quite a bit smaller than the original one. So we were actually downgraded, especially because the windows are so old you can’t see much outside. We did get a voucher for 1 free meal and a slight apology but after seeing how dirty this place is I’m not risking eating their food. Please also don’t book this hotel if you want to enjoy a pool. The ceiling in the pool room is caving in. I don’t know who took the pictures of it for the website but they need a raise. I just want to leave, this place is gross! Also the pictures below are from our “upgraded room”. After reading other reviews and the responses from the owner about how they appreciate feedback and take things very seriously you can tell that this place has just given up and doesn’t care at all. Bad business and bad hotel.

So we are a family with 2 small kids so we have a lot to carry 3 adults kids 2yr and younger ? the sent us two the wrong room blamed it on third party website the did fix that I also received a email from the hotel about a contact less entry I was a little confused about how that was going to work so I called I asked the employee was confused also it was super frustrating then I realized that email is probably from the pandemic that time has passed update you information this was my first time in Fort Wayne and at this hotel parking involves a parking garage breakfast is not free I didn't realize that until they put down a bill we travel all the time this breakfast would be fine if complimentary otherwise save your money you'd better off at waffle house ohh and my toddler found a old half full cup of coffee on the window sill trash on floor by certains pull out couch had dirty bedding we brought our own so not a big Deal but most families don't sooo......
