“Rooms are nice. Im in a 1 queen suite. Plenty of room. Clean, well kept. Front desk clerk is awesome and there to help with any questions. There's plenty of food in the area, weather you like fast food or restraints and there are big stores as well if you want to cook on your own. There's no oven and the pots and pans aren't very big. Either bring your own or be prepared for that.”
“I booked this room for an overnight veg out session for my birthday and it was a very good choice! the hotel was clean, the room was very nice and the employees I interacted with were all kind. This will actually be my go to hotel suggestion for people coming to town.”

“Staff was great—no issues there. But the hotel itself is definitely showing its age and could use some updates. The overall look and feel is pretty outdated, and with the “H” out on the sign, it’s currently the “ampton Inn,” which kind of sums things up.”
“Overall, the stay was okay and probably somewhere between 3 and 4 stars for me. The room was clean and most things worked fine, but there was a strange smell in the room, almost like a sauna or damp wood smell, which was unpleasant. The breakfast was also very basic and disappointing. The biggest downside was the staff, who were not friendly or welcoming at all. Not a terrible experience, but definitely room for improvement.”
“Had a great visit! Hotel seems newly renovated, clean rooms, friendly staff. The only thing is I wish there was a fan in the bathrooms to help with humidity but it wasn't too bad! 10/10”

I was skeptical about the strip club being across the street.

“I just want to comment and say THANK YOU for your flexibility and willingness to help today when my parents showed up for their reservation that I mistakenly booked for the wrong day. Your kindness in switching the reservation and giving them the room we originally booked was so thoughtful and just know it’s so appreciated! This was their Christmas gift as they are seeing a show at the Embassy Theatre tonight and the room is beautiful and the location is perfect. You went above and beyond today for fixing my error and I thank you so much!! 10/10 recommend this beautiful place! Perfect location and perfect price!”

“Nice hotel. Breakfast is extra in the restaurant. Lots of great restaurants and pubs in walking distance. The lounge by the lobby is nice when meeting a group.Rooms: Accessible rooms are available (from the signs in the hall outside select, marked rooms). King rooms have a comfy couch and nice big bathrooms.Nearby activities: The happy gnome is a great place nearby to try some great food and interesting beers.”
“Adjust your expectations according to the price your paying and I think you'll find the motel is good. Our room was exactly what we booked and expected (king bed). Only two small bars of soap are provided plus different sized towels, clean sheets, and an ice machine. Bring your own shampoo. There's a small fridge/freezer and microwave but I suggest bringing your own snacks, tea bags, coffee etc. In the morning, there's free coffee on the first floor near reception. It's located right on the corner of two busier roads but the sounds did not bother us (we use a white noise machine bc of the baby). It's located right next to the famous Liberty Cafe, which I recommend for brunch.”

“I cannot say enough about this hotel . It was excellent. They were so helpful and nice. My room was very clean . Very quiet for a weekend but alot of people there. Breakfast awesome and changes daily. Q As a solo traveler Important to me I felt very safe coming and going. Convenience to everything. Restaurants, gas stations, Kroger, you name it . I will be back”
“I was nervous to stay because of the low reviews but once we got here I don't see what everyone was complaining about. The hotel and room were very clean, a standard that keeps us coming back to Holiday Inn for every trip we take. The water was hot, and stayed hot for everyone in our room to take a long shower. The breakfast had everything available and was delicious. When we checked in it was very late and the gentleman that checked us in was extremely nice and in a welcoming mood even as late at is was. And for everyone complaining about being kicked out of the lobby at 10....you are in a public place and its 10..go to your room to hang out. I don't usually give reviews but I feel that a lot of the negative reviews were unwarranted. We had a wonderful stay with friendly staff as we always have with any Holliday Inn we've stayed at, it's this standard that keeps us staying with them.”

“The hotel is dated, but going through a renovation. You can't beat the prices in the restaurant or the food at the bar. Location is key because it's connected to the convention center. Highly recommend staying here when in town.”
“It's interesting this hotel has a two-star rating but we've stayed at probably 10 to 12 hotels over the last few years and this was by far one of the best. They had an amazing breakfast customer service was wonderful they were so great with families we had four kids in our group ages two to nine and it was a wonderful experience.
Anytime we needed something they were able to get it for us they were putting chemicals in the pool during the last hour of the hotel and let us swim past our checkout time for a few hours since the kids weren't able to swim before we checked out which was very kind of them.
We will always be staying in this hotel when we come back to fort Wayne for the cheer competition!!
The staff smiled every time you walked past them if we needed garbage bags they handed them to us I just can't say enough about how great it was.
And this hotel was under construction slightly which did not hinder us at all and caused us no issues!!!”

“Great place to stay for a short while. Pretty good price for it with friendly staff. It has the renovated look that looks a bit worn, but everything is actually clean and works well. It's definitely a good place to stay on a tight budget. Has wifi as well. And you can park right next to your room which is a bonus!”
“What an absolutely luxurious establishment! The valet parking was wonderful, and they took care of my 2022 Rolls Royce Phantom. They offered me an abundance of delicacies and some premium champagne as well! The beds, sheets, and pillows were all Louis Vuitton, and there was even a beautiful perch for my dog, who is a Samoyed that's worth $14,000. On top of that, they have a stunning casino, Olympic size pool, and a huge sauna! Did I mention the tv's were roughly 86 inches in stunning 8k Q-LED? I believe this place is miles better than the Beverly Hills Hotel or any Ritz Carleton, for that matter. If you get the once in a lifetime chance to go here, do it! Worth every penny.Rooms: As I mentioned, the rooms of this fine place are very well laid out, and everything is painstakingly thought out and even handcrafted! When you first step into any room, you will immediately smell luxury. There's simply no other way to describe it.”

“Booked third party app,(DONT DO THIS), was a complete headache trying to check in, took a couple hours of sharing info and ideas, eventually the staff was able to get me in a room, better than I initially booked, such a hassle for everyone involved. MIKE and NORMA the greatest people I could've asked for took care of just about everything for us and we were still able to enjoy are stay.. Those two are incredible staff, as well as the other members, but these two really made sure to get us in that night. I am still grateful for you guys. Such an amazing job they are doing .. Give them a raise!!! Overall great experience, all staff was pretty nice to us and facility was pretty clean from what I seen keep it up”

“I have stayed in ALOT of hotels for work, vacation, and random events. This hotel has all the others beat. Super kid friendly, the most helpful and nicest staff all around. Not to mention everything was super clean and looked super cool with some awesome colors and a breathtaking lobby. Anytime I am in Fort Wayne this is my hotel!!!”
