Do not use HR block, especially this location. Peggy filed my taxes for me and made a massive mistake that I (an untrained tax eye caught) after my taxes had already been filed. She told me I owed the federal government $11,000!!! I’m now being billed and collecting interest. When I finally got my amendment submitted, it still hasn’t been reviewed by the IRS 4 months later. When my taxes were finally corrected, I’m actually due $3000. A $14,000 mistake!! When trying to get ahold of my tax professional to help me resolve the mistake, everyone I’ve spoken to is now out of office for 8 weeks. Meanwhile the IRS is after me. If I could leave 0 starts I would.

I wouldn’t have even given them one star. Why you ask they did my taxes called me up and said “ you’re not gonna get back as much as what you thought but you will get something back” .
Then I got less back then what I paid to have my taxes done. Then a couple months later I started getting calls about peeing back taxes. I ask the guy that called me, “ if I owed money why would I get money back”. He replayed yes you’re right. That was the end, so I thought until I received a letter from the irs. I thought it was a scam so I ignored it. Then I get another notice in the mail.
I called H & R block and asked them what was going on. Her response was yes you owe. Omg really omg i owe more then what I make in a week and H& R block lied to me they lied. I was told I would get a little back that I did not owe any money. You may have gotten me 2023 taxes but I will never ever refer H&R Block

Long story short, I had a horrible experience. I do not recommend coming here. The lack of professionalism is alarming.
From the start my agent was an hour late to the scheduled appointment. Once he found out I had multiple years to file he was visibly annoyed and made the situation uncomfortable. The agent refused to see me after the first appointment and made me do everything through the horrible mobile app that doesnt work. Failed to inform me of charges and fees I didn't know about. Resulting in paying twice as much than what was originally quoted for one year and getting back half of what was quoted for another. When confronted about it they take no responsibility. I'm honestly not sure what I paid $600 for them to do. You're better off filing on your own.

We’ve come here in the past to get our taxes done with zero issues. Today we met with David and will never return. He was extremely rude and condescending and was unable to answer very simple questions related to our taxes. We walked out in the middle of our appointment.

My son paid extra for their assistance if he were audited. He was. He went into the office with the info that yhe IRS requested. They did nothing to help. He had to send in all that info himself later.

These guys are the worst. I received half of what I was supposed to receive from the IRS. I contacted them several times. No one wants to even look at my letter from the IRS. The front desk personnel are extremely rude and unprofessional.
