I've not had a problem since I've started going here a few years ago. I take my bunnies here as there aren't many vets that take bunnies around this area and I'd say the prices are great. I recently brought my bunny in because I had a concern, but I was assured that it wasn't as I suspected and they kindly sent me on my way. I'll continue to keep bringing my buns in for care.

I started taking my pup to Indian Creek a year and a half ago when we 1st got her. So far, I've been beyond pleased with the vets and staff there. Dr. Cawood is amazing with my dog. I'm pleased at how quickly they get her in, and pricing is reasonable.

AVOID....... We have taken our dogs to Indian Creek for close to 14 years. The service we received over the last 5 weeks has been nothing short of horrendous. Our 13 year old Yorkie started having bloody stools and was diagnosed with stress colitis and prescribed meds. Fast forward couple weeks she was not getting any better. We asked about an X-ray at that second appt. Only thing done, was change medicine. Couple days into the new medication she seemed worse. We had to take her to the ER vet hospital. Couple days later, she saw vet at Indian Creek because she was getting worse. Another visit...another question if an X-ray was needed....another change in medicine No X-ray. Change in medicine made her sick so they changed it again.....still no X-rays. Week 5.....she's getting worse. "Finally drop her off in morning and we'll do an X-ray". Shocker, X-ray showed "irregularities" and she needed an ultrasound, which could not be done until the following Monday because there's one person in town who can apparently do Ultrasounds. Not wanting to wait that long, I drove to Fishers, IN, for an ultrasound. Ultrasound came back with 3 cancerous areas. They were going to read results of the aspirated areas and call me back. One day later, she's in critical condition and we called Indian Creek because we felt they should put her to sleep because she was struggling, trouble breathing and her back legs went out from underneath her. THEY REFUSED TO SEE HER UNTIL THE NEXT DAY!!! Are you kidding me? We were loyal to them for 14 years and going thru this with Peyton for 5 weeks and they refuse to help a struggling dog???? Dr. Smith's call the next day was uncaring, especially when she referenced "hind site and doing 'best they can'". Well in this case, their best was certainly NOT GOOD ENOUGH. It's true that the results probably wouldn't have been any different but we could have possibly saved her weeks of suffering if they would have cared. It is a true fact that she was part of our family and we trusted Indian Creek to care enough to "fit us in" Also, at EVERY appointment we also provided MANY pictures of her tremendously bloody stools and they also seemed to disregard the seriousness of the amount of blood and appearance of these photos. We have another dog who will not be going back there, and being a dog family none of our future babies will either.

We love this place! We adopted our first dog through Humane Fort Wayne and they did her first vet appointment free due to her being adopted from HFW! All we paid for that visit was her heart and worm shot (which is a must). They were super sweet to our Ahri (Siberian husky) and even confirmed we just adopted a full breed husky based on our Kennel Club paperwork being real (wish us luck ha!). They also recommend some great ways to help train her which have worked wonders! We have a scare with her eyes dilating out of sync. I took her in after making a call and then recommending her be checked out. It cost $70 and they gave me an probiotic for her stomach due to constant diarrhea and irregular p**** Her eyes are due to a dog syndrome she has (not going to kill her) just something she has to live with. So thankful for our vet and for their comfort they brought us when we had a lot of unanswered questions!

Been going here for 15 years and was happy. However, took our dog for check up, was called the next day to tell us he was in kidney failure. Was told to bring him in for 48 hrs to have his kidneys flushed. Went to pick him up on a Friday afternoon. Was told our Vet was at a conference. I asked to speak to the other vet on staff, she refused to speak to me. No one would give me any info on our dogs condition. The tech said to bring him back for an appt Monday morning. If I had a problem go to ER Vet Clinic. What???? I just spent $1100 here in 3 days. When we got our dog home we could clearly see he was dying . Went back Monday listened to bs from the VET and had my baby euthanized. Will Never use this business again.

We have seen Dr Cawood for YEARS. He is the awesome. He always gives us advise and has always treated our babies well. I would not go anywhere else. The staff are always helpful and if they don't have an answer when I call--they find it out and call me back. Thank you for always being there for us!!!

Some how this place got my email address and has been spamming me. Their online unsubscribe system is a joke. Contacting them is a well. Businesses need to be aware of what they do.

Very Friendly

Indian Creek is very nice and less expensive than a lot of other vets in Fort Wayne and I have been going there for years. I have to say that the vet techs and front desk staff are not always very friendly and tend to be very condescending and rude. However, I put up with this because I have always had a very wonderful experience with both Dr. Cawood and Dr. O'Leary. They are both very kind, compassionate and helpful people. Very recently I had to bring my dog in for an issue with a mole and I had to take the first Dr. available which was someone I had never met before, Dr. Smith. It was a horrible experience. She was very rude, very unfriendly and wouldn't even take the time to look at his mole because he wasn't current on his vaccinations (which I was there getting done after they looked at his mole). After all of this I have decided to switch vets completely. I don't enjoy paying a place lots of money to take care of my pets, just for them to treat me like a piece of garbage. They need to learn a lesson in how to treat their customers. Regardless of what your feelings may be, I am still paying you for a service and deserve to be treated with respect.

My fiance and I had a not-so-impressive experience with this clinic. They misdiagnosed our pet, provided her with medication that was not effective, were unable to see us timely to resolve the issue, and forwarded us to the Emergency Vet. The eVet was not helpful either. According to my fiance, who took her to the initial appointment, they did not adequately listen to our concerns, nor did they even examine her injuries. They glanced at the affected area and sent them on their way. It's four weeks later. My fur baby has lost 7 pounds. We are at a different vet, who is phenomal and helpful. To top it all off, they mispelled my fiances name, so when the new vet called for records they couldnt find us! I'm not taking Heidi to Indian Creek Clinic again.

Love this vetrinary office so much! Being new dog owners, we were walking into fog with our new goldendoodle puppy! Dr. Cawood is incredible and very knowledgeable. He told us what we needed to be prepared for, what we were doing well, and helpful tips for moving forward! The staff has always been so nice to us when we go in, and I trust them completely! We even had to call on a Friday late day because our puppy ate some toys and the staff told us everything we needed to look for, and let us know he would be okay! I recommend anyone looking for a new/different vet to go here, you won't be sorry!

They do a good job with my dogs. I just about live there! The nice attribute about this vet place is that it's a hospital. You can board your dog there, if needed, and a DVM is there everyday - not sure about weekends. I've been satisfied for the most part.
