Waited for 2 hrs to only be told that my son who was sick didn’t need any meds and to come back if he didn’t get better or gets worse. There were only 1-2 people ahead of us and wait time was 30-45 minutes. Dr only spent 1-3 minutes with us.

Quick online check-in process with friendly staff and very patient, kind medical professionals. If you need Urgent Care, this is the place to go.

Very great staff and very economical. Finally a doctor in Fort Wayne that is patient oriented instead of insurance driven. A refreshing change of pace that could go a long way to restoring my faith in our medical system.

How much is the price for each visit to the pediatrician for my 3-year-old girl?

They give out antibiotics like candy:I’ve been to Urgent Care a few times in the past couple years with no complaints. I thought the staff was friendly (still do) and I’m very patient and understanding when it comes to long wait times. What I do have an issue with, however, were my last two visits. The first visit, the doctor gave me an antibiotic without a diagnosis or very much reason to give me one; from my understanding she didn’t know what was going on and told me to take a wide variety of things until something worked. I don’t like the idea of using antibiotics for something minor, let alone without a reason, but I decided to follow through as instructed. Over a week after discontinuing (amoxicillin), I was having severe stomach pain and diarrhea and the initial symptoms were the same as before taking it. I went back for a second visit to address my concerns, but I didn’t really feel heard. This doctor decided to give me ANOTHER antibiotic for a sinus infection that I didn’t even have (and was no longer my concern), among a few other things (at this point I had reason to believe that my first round of antibiotics ruined my gut and so I didn’t take the second round). They also wanted a stool sample, and after turning that in I was told I’d have to bring another one because the tests were inconclusive. At this point, I could not MOVE I was in so much pain. I was stuck on the toilet for hours straight every day, diarrhea and now vomiting, and it had been two weeks. So I went to parkview walk in—where they directed me to the ER—where I was then admitted into the hospital for 4 days with a severe C Diff infection. I can’t imagine how my colon would have fared with the other antibiotics handed to me. I had no reason to take the first ones anyhow and could’ve spared myself a lot of pain and suffering if I didn’t. Also, I’m a very young, healthy individual (18), so antibiotics should not have been first resort in my opinion.

Never a bad experience with any IU Health facility. They treat you with a caring and genuine attitude. Definitely my first go to as it comes to health care needs. I have switched all my health care to Fort Wayne IU Health. So happy I have.

As a retired service member with 30 years in I will never visit an urgent care until they take care of this issue.According to the resolution, any flag would damages such as tears should not be flying in this country.Urgent Care should be ashamed of themselves.Such flag as the one you have that is large would stand for a patriotism. However, in your case. This is a display of pure disregard of our country if he cannot take care of the flag.I recommend your flag be taken down and buried in the ground as a proper way to dispose of the American flag and replace it with a new one.

Overall this was a very nice facility and the staff there was friendly. The one complaint I have, also being one that will keep me from returning, is their payment system would not allow me to pay my remaining balance. When I received the bill in the mail I tried to pay through the phone numbers provided, as well as online through MyIUHealth guest pay, and both gave me an error saying there was an error in processing my payment. I then spoke to an IU Health representative over the phone who tried to process the payment again only for the error to occur again. I then asked her if I could just pay the remaining balance at the facility which I received treatment and she said absolutely, yet afterward when I went to the facility to pay they told me that because they could not look up my information they could not accept payment from me at the facility. They said the old system they had would allow them to do it, but not the current one. So today I tried one more time to call the 888 number on my bill and was told they couldn't process payment at this time because the last time there was an error processing payment it caused the 140.00 balance remaining on my account to disappear, and I have to wait another 48-72 hours to try again. With all due respect to anyone involved this as well as me not being able to pay at the facility which I received treatment is absurd, and I've never been to an urgent care clinic or any business for that matter that would not allow you to pay for services rendered at the facility which you received them. If the payment system online or over the phone worked, even after trying two different cards, I wouldn't necessarily have this complaint on here. I feel like I am stuck in a nonpayment limbo of sorts and it's ridiculous.

No long wait time! Excellent bedside manners. Spent enough time going over concerns. Quality of care was Excellent! They even have tv/cartoons in individual rooms for the kiddos, which helps distract them. I was very impressed with this urgent care
