I long for the days when I could just go into a store, shop, and buy things that are accurately priced without fielding the constant gauntlet of requests for your email, phone #, or to sign up for a credit card. But this is Kohl's and they won't listen to the consumer. My experience at this store was the same: went to buy a suitcase and found one with a price tag on it, which is rare given Kohl's electronic pricing. At checkout the price was not what was on the tag, surprise. The staff got it resolved but not without repeatedly wanting my personal info or to sign up for a CC. The advertised 20% discount for nonmembers apparently only is valid if you give them your email. I paid an $35 to keep that private.

New checkout system is a mess. You can't go from having a return desk and two areas of checkouts to now just one area with three people working checkouts and returns. So many people in line we're grumbling and talking about how bad it is. At a minimum, you need to have someone in the line constantly making announcements that people can go to self-checkout. Nobody wants to look like they are cutting, but having everyone in one line that splits at a bad spot was not working well.
I also had to make a trip into the store today because I received an online item that still had the security tag on it. Super frustrating to deal with as well

Self checkout is the main reason for this 2 star rating. Long lines snaked through the men's department. Employees had to help with the "self checkout". A very slow process. Nike hoodies were chained so I could not look at them easily.

Once again this Kohl's has reconfigured the checkout lanes. They are still only at the north entrance which could affect ADA customers. I like to use self checkout but for some reason there are employees there who try to do the ringing up. That is truly unnecessary. While there my be people who wish for the help there are others who are at the self checkout because they want to. Perhaps the staff should be trained to offer help but not interject themselves between the guest and their purchases.

Very nice and clean store. They stock up every Tuesday so if your looking for something special I would go on a Tuesday.
