DANGEROUS SHOPPING CART LOCKING MECHANISMS! I was recently injured while trying to push an empty shopping cart out of the store! All I wanted was to get a bag of salt from outside and when going out the door the wheels locked up and I felt like I hit a brick wall with my cart! I now have reversed whiplash of my lower back! This loss prevention is causing injuries to innocent shoppers! Less than two minutes after it happened to me it happened to another woman! Thank God neither of us were pregnant! Meijer is going to have major lawsuits on their hands if they don’t stop this ridiculous practice! Worthless greeters should just check carts and receipts like Walmart and Costco if they don’t want stealing in their store. Complete and utter stupidity of Meijer’s part! I refuse to shop there now. And sooo many check out lanes, sooo little cashiers. Meijer has gone down hill big time! I don’t want to self check out when I have well over $200 in groceries and I don’t want to wait in line for 20 minutes while all my frozen food melts on a hot day. I will be shopping at Walmart, Kroger or Aldi from now on. I’m done with this store.

I didn’t think I’d like the newer self-check out stations but I really like them. They are nicely distanced from each other so I don’t feel hurried or crowded by people waiting behind me, staff members have been very promptly and cheerfully attentive if I need help, and I get finished so fast now. I like handling my own groceries.
Only a 4-star review because I can’t stand the stupid music. Please turn it OFF OFF OFF. Nobody likes it.

Whoa Nelly!
What happened to this store?
We’ve been away for awhile, so it was a shock to go in today and find the following:
Dirty parking lot, trash and cigarette butts
Very dirty entryway. Dirt snd salt, INSIDE the entryway.
Low stock on the shelves, looked like Covid hit.
Dirty checkout area. Glass all smeary.
NO PAPER BAGS!?!?
Horrid loud music still a thing.
Whoops—had to take away two stars.
Whoops—won’t be back.
Lima Rd store better.

Self checkout. No idea how to apply Meijer coupon (no immediate prompts that I could see). Lady comes over, swipes key card (only she has), types in code (only she knows), hits a bunch of buttons until she finally swipes coupon, tells me in a bit of a huff "See, it's just that easy." - Okay...

They seem to have a lot of produce a lot of meat. Their items are stalked, krogers has. An issue getting stocked shelves. Bluffton krogers is small and cluttered and empty this Myers. On Illinois road is always stocked the one on Dupont. Road, of course, it's new. It's like a total different set up. So that was a lot to get used to, but they seem to have plenty of product. It's very clean I recommend meijer

Its a Meijer. Take a Walmart, raise the prices by 10-20% and there ya go. Surprisingly good cuts of meat though.

Be well prepared to bag your own groceries in the full service isle. It’s a routine occurrence. So are the hollow apologies from the store managers every time it happens.

The cashier Kiera M. working Tuesday night 1-21-2025 at 730pm, register 14 I believe has the absolute worst attitude to be working in customer service. Even after asking her if she could go get help because she wasn't sure on how to run a food only card, she completely ignored the request, pretended to do whatever she thought she was doing then kept running it as a gift card after repeatedly being told not to. A door knob is more competent. Will not be returning to this location. Told her I was going to Walmart due to her ugly attitude.

The place is a dump. Went shopping on Sunday morning and the produce dept. looked liked it hadn’t been touch in 24 hours. Lot of empty shelves. At check out. Only 2 checkers and no helpers to bag groceries so there were lines at both checkouts and a line at self check. A lady behind me bought $400.00 and had to bag them herself. The clerk ringing up her groceries did not make attempt to help and looked like he wanted to be somewhere else besides work. The clerks don’t seem very friendly, only say something maybe because they are required to
