I live like 4 minutes from Meijer. Never went there until it was next door. And I regret it. Walmart has better everyday prices. But cannot compare to the sales, deals and clearance I find at Meijer!! I LOVE Meijer!

Found some great items and prices for Christmas gifts. Looks like additional self-checkout have been added. But they don't stop you at the exits like they do at Wal-Mart

I usually go in for something quick and not for a huge shopping trip which is good for me bc as someone with a handicap, its difficult to navigate the store. The digital coupons are great too for added savings

Good products and nice staff but the anti-shoplifting measures here have gotten so extreme that trying to buy groceries now feels like going through a TSA checkpoint. The self checkout cameras will flag you as a suspected shoplifter over every little thing: coat in the bottom of your cart, unscanned items in your hands while you bag a scanned item, unused reusable shopping bags in your cart at the end of your transaction. And then the door alarm will go off on you as you're leaving for no reason. I will not be coming back here unless I absolutely have to. Not worth the prices or the stress.

Great store with friendly staff. Prices are comparable to Walmart, without the Walmart oddities and seemingly odd Walmart customer behaviors. Be sure to download the Meijer app to your phone so you can easily shop and check out quickly.

Deli lady wants to be condescending and take her time purposely (overheard her laughing about it on her way to break)
Didn't see her clean a single machine after use so better watch your cross contamination

I went here today with my brother to get some roses for my girlfriend and got racially profiled. A worker(I think he was a manager) followed my brother and I around the store because he thought we were stealing trading cards. When I confronted him, he was very smug and wouldn’t leave us alone. He continued to follow us after we checked out, and all the way outside the store while taunting us at the same time. I have never been treated this way before, and I am never going back here again.
