I wouldn't recommend doing business with this bank. My wife and I brought to their attention about being shorted 100 dollars. We brought the money and our receipt, which showed what they claimed to give us in bills and what we got wasn't the same. Instead of proving without a doubt we were wrong and showing us video of the transaction they claimed to have watched and showed us getting that exact amount, we were treated like we were hostile. Which wasn't the case. We simply asked for proof on their end. The manager avoided doing so and was very rude. We also caught him in multiple lies. We requested that he show us in writing certain policies and he refused to do so. We requested a direct phone number to someone in the corporate office and he gave us a blank card with their general number instead. Not what we requested. The lack of integrity and respect for their customers is truly disappointing. Response to owner. My wife was standing right next to me requesting the same stuff. There is no privacy or security issue, when we are only asking to see our transaction only. Which you already claimed to have. I should be listed unless you changed something.. Which you already know. This is just another excuse to avoid accountability on your end.

Talk about EASY, this was the biggest No Brainer in lending history! Spoke with Nick Newland at Midwest in FT Wayne, IN. He took my application and had me approved with the best rate and term in minutes! A+, 5-Stars all the way!
Thanks Nick, you have a customer for life!

Nick was amazing! After taking possession of a vehicle I bought from an out-of-state auto dealership, the original credit union that approved my loan, kept making me “jump through hoops,” (for a week after!) Nick got my auto loan approved & processed in just a couple hours. I didn’t even have to go to the branch. He did everything over the phone & email. Nick was very nice & professional! I’ll definitely be sticking with MidWest America Federal Credit Union!

I cannot express how amazing Nick was at this location. So helpful from the loan application stage to signing the docs in the branch. He was very understanding and accommodating of my families unique situation and we also got very favorable terms. So glad I found these guys, best bank experience. Ask for Nick!!

My husband and I just got an auto loan through MidWest America and were very pleased with the entire process. I felt our loan office definitely went above and beyond required in helping in our transaction. there were no delays and we will certainly look to MidWest America for any future loan needs.

Went to pay my daughters car loan, had been doing this for several months already, BUT today, they say they can't accept payment because my name isn't on the account. I'm paying, mind you, NOT withdrawling! Another reason why I switched banks, so not customer friendly. Take your money elsewhere! This was the branch on Stellhorn.

The worst for auto financing...we leased a Honda and had to deal with Midwest America for our lease. We had issues with them from the start. First, no one explained to us that we needed to call in and activate online banking in order to add an external account for payments. Didn't realize this until I went on to pay my bill after days before it was due. Then was told when I called in that it can rake up to 72 hours to add the external account before you can make a payment through it so my payment was not able to post until the 3rd.Then about 4pm on the last day of the month, both my fiance and I get multiple threatening calls while trying to finish up our work day from Sean at Midwest America stating that we did not pay our full payment and we would be reported to collections at midnight for approximately $25 that was still owed. When I called back and spoke with her, she explained that there has been a long on-going problem with their website and it doesn't calculate state sales tax so the amount showing online that we owed was actually less then what our payment should have been, causing this shortage in the payment. She wanted a debit card number immediately over the phone or threatened to report to the credit bureaus as a late payment at the end of the day. I felt this was EXTREMELY unprofessional. I had no idea if she was who she said she was to give her a card number over the phone. And I do not feel that I should be penalized for some known and long standing issue with their website. Get yourself together Midwest America, if you would fix the issue with your website, you wouldn't have to pay people like Sean to call and harass or threatened your customers on the last day of each month which could potentially save you a ton of money, just sayin.I would not willingly bank here if I had the choice. My experience with them has been less than satisfactory and their other reviews aren't great either.Update: Nice response Midwest America. Thanks for absolutely NOT addressing your website issues OR the threatening credit reporting calls even though I paid the "amount due" quoted on your website which resulted in the underpayment.
