Imagine going to make a small purchase at Office Depot. You ask for help. A rude employee begrudgingly helps you. Unfortunately for you, you use the "wrong" descriptive word in describing what you need. Then imagine having five employees and a manager lose their collective minds. They come out from the aisles to literally scold and harangue you for using the "wrong word" while you're trying to check out. Yes, you too can enjoy this kind of superior customer service at Office Depot you if you use a word they don't like. I was told by a manager, "We expect a certain level of professionalism" while trying to leave. Maybe take your own advice. You sell printer paper. Get over yourselves. I'll admit, these folks are ahead of the curve. This happened some time ago. They were "woke" when it was only "politically correct." Next time you stop by, be sure to use the descriptor, "gay" and you too can watch the employees turn feral.

The staff here are amazing! I've never really been to Office Depot much, but I had to get two new printers and ink for my mom. I asked a staff member where to find the one I needed, and she knew immediately what I was talking about! She took me right over to the inks and showed me which ones I would need, then grabbed the printers from the back for me and brought them to the checkout. The checkout clerk was also very nice and asked if I needed assistance loading, which of course I did, so he sent someone out with me to put all the stuff in my car. The staff did a great job making my experience good and the new printers have worked well so far!

Office Depot is a great store if you're in search of office supplies, furniture, electronics; however, often you have to go shopping around to find the best price because unfortunately, the regular price at Office Depot is just way over price. I included a picture of one of their printers and you can easily look online and it's cheaper at multiple other stores. They used to have coupons online which you need to hunt for Beck and either get you bonus rewards back. This could be quite a deal if something is on sale such as a high-end office chair that you can't find elsewhere. The one thing that was frustrating though is they did not email me that my rewards were expiring so I ended up losing $50 in reward credit. also one pro tip you can assemble the chair yourself instead of paying them the $30-$50 because it's quite easy. They also have a lot of other computer services such as removing the trial aware on their laptops which I think you could do yourself. If you buy anything online, you can have it picked up at curbside especially those large items such as office chair. Overall, I'm still happy that this place has not gone out of business like OfficeMax or staples. It's nice to have a variety to shop at or at least a window browse.

I purchased a dell monitor online, april 10. It stopped working a month later. I called tech support and was told I had 90 days to return, exchange, or get it fixed. I brought it in and was refused all options. Was told I had 14 days even though it stopped working. Was told to call dell. WILL NEVER SHOP AT OFFICE DEPOT AGAIN.

Walked in the store. Immediately fell in love. Smells like a soft sea breeze and fluffy towels. Very helpful staff. One young man even winked at me. The manager gave me a free candy cane. On my way out, the whole staff smiled and waved. They're so friend. I went here after a stop to Best Buy, where they told me to 'wait my turn' in line and let other people pass me for about 20 minutes. I ended up walking over to Office Depot; heaven on earth. What a great location. Friendly staff. Awesome manager. Very well kept store. Thank so much!

Kind of a cracker jack store compared to Best Buy! if you can find a good buy in here I say take it up and get it! But all in all it isn't no Best Buy! I got a few good deals in here on Mice and a laptop onetime. But all in all I will go to Best Buy. They got more selection and got them sales too! and way more and better stuff, better laptops, good selection of everything this place doesn't or doesn't have! This place isn't anymore than the Ace Hardware of computer stores. Could be better I tell you! Best Buy now they got a lot to choose from and some really nice stuff. This place not as much. Worth while if you are looking for small items like a mouse, power surge protector or something, they might have a sale going on or they might not have anything at all.

After having a terrible experience when visiting Lancaster, PA I decided to order the laptop I wanted online. I was immediately greeted when I arrived, and was helped and out the door in under 5 minutes. They were very pleasant.

I ordered ink online. The delivery was next day as promised. Ink was not what I ordered. I called store. They said bring it in and they'd exchange it. Brought it in and they would not exchange it. Talked to the manager. He finally agreed, reluctantly. What is the advantage of ordering online??? No wonder Amazon is eating these businesses for breakfast!

I was checking out here, with a second choice of a laptop because my first choice wasn't in stock. I asked the cost of set up/data migration, not because I'm not capable but I am here visiting my parents from out of town. I had multiple errands & needed to pick up dinner. Office Depot charges $79 for a set up, data migration $75 & the HP rep in the store pitched me on a bundle including Macafee virus software. Claimed a new virus showing up was not recoverable & HP wouldn't do anything if I encountered the non recoverable virus. Roughly $150 more total. The set & migration cost was absurd to me & I told the tech I thought so. I decided to go next door to Best Buy after the Office Depot tech talked to me like I was an idiot. Because I asked the cost of the set up doesn't necessarily make me a technology phobic person. Best Buy salesman knew his stuff, fast accurate info. Checked out & another tech talked with me a minute about an extended warranty, no pressure, and profiled me to be knowledgeable enough to not be in need of any other virus malware than the free Windows defender. After checking out, just for grins, I asked Best Buy's charge for set up & migration, $50. Not a steal but fair. I took my laptop home & did it myself. And I got a faster more powerful laptop for $50 less. More importantly no one tried to take advantage of me. It would be wise of Office Depot to retrain their staff to not profile like that & not price gouge people because they are not techno friendly. I bet you do get that set/migration fee from some. In the big picture, you didn't just lose my sale last night, you lost a customer. Project that out against your over priced support. Office Depot should know better than to be taking advantage of people with an outrageous price for such a simple task. Pick up the phone & check your competitors & a couple local PC shops. And whoever hired the jerk who talked down to me like I was mentally challenged because he didn't like me calling him out on the set up/migration fee, should be fired. Or at least retrained. Nothing to be gained by treating any customer like they're stupid. Don't wonder what caused your sales decline, its extremely obvious.

This store smells like stale cigarette smoke, body odor and testosterone. It was breathtaking and not in an enjoyable way. While the cashier was ringing me up, he got one his earpiece and said "A million people just walked in so..." I turned around and counted four. I got the sense he was not happy that four people walked in. You'd think an office supply store would be grateful for every person who walked in the door. I got what I needed but I won't be returning because it was too unpleasant smelling.

Wow this has to be the rudest service I have ever received in Ft Wayne let alone in office depot! The person that attended me, her name is BreeAnna, had a terrible attitude and didn't want to show me an example of the sizes of invitations that they offered. I had to get various copies just to see what sizes they had! Ridiculous, lazy and absurd. I noticed that she was rude to quite a few customers trying to get things printed. I was tempted to just walk out of the store. I didn't get anything I wanted Wow... Never again

As soon as I walked in the door I asked if I needed help and boy did I. They asked and answered question to help me get exactly what I needed. Didn't try to oversell.

I needed to get books bound on a plastic coil binding and they messed one up buy first of all punching the holes on the wrong side and then second punching them crooked. These were important books and needed to be neat and presentable. Needless to say they gave me that one free but I still had to get another book. They did not offer to pay for another book to replace the one they ruined.
