I usually like shopping here, and bringing clothes my kids dont fit anymore. But this last time I tried to get store credit for my kids clothes, I was told the SEALED tote they were in had a puddle at the bottom of it and the clothes I brought had black mold. Wich isn't possible because everything in the tote was washed and dryed then immediately put in that tote wich was brand new. The clothes only sat in that tote for a couple of days before I brought it in. I also picked out anything that was stained or holy. When I tried to explain that to the clerk they got defensive and said sorry nothing they could do about it. And then rejected the entire tote. Took the tote out to my car, dumped it out in my back seat to see what they were talking about, and I found nothing, no puddle in the bottom of the tote, and there was no mold on any of the clothes. Needles to say i was very disappointed that trip, I was hoping to get store credit as my kids needed new clothes/shoes.

. I’ve been working 12 hour shifts every day and the store closes at 8 PM. I can’t come get my stuff if I don’t get off until the store closes very not understanding and very rude. Also did not return my totes.They called me told me that I would get cash for my offer since the lady broke my toe and that I got and I got called into work didn’t give me cash gave me sore. Credit told me that I should have paid that day if I wanted cash like I didn’t have to work. I’ve been working 12 hour shifts every day and the store closes at 8 PM. I called at 3:40 pm today to ask if the buy counter was still open. Your Fort Wayne employee stated that it was open but only for another hour. With that answer I got my box in the car and took it up to the cold water location. When I get there at 4:07 pm I begin to try and sign in and I’m notified by an employee that the buy counter is currently closed for the day. I respond with “I called prior to coming up her and an employee had stated that the buy counter was open but only for another hour” to which your employee stated “well is was on break so I don’t know” I then ask who I spoke to that gave me misinformation. Then your heavy set manager with moles all over her face responds “well I’m the manager and the buy counter closes at 4:00 pm every Sunday” so I repeat my question of who did I speak to that misinformation and nobody has a damn answer, but all she can say is sorry! Everybody needs to be re-educated on you alls policies and that stating who they are on the phone should be mandatory for any business. All I got was “Once upon a child, how can I help you”. I have two children under the age of 18 months and the weekends are the only time I can get out. Such an inconvenience for someone that called ahead of time.

This is the cleanest most organized location I have been to yet! Employees were friendly and helpful! I will definitely be back even if it's an hour drive!

Pretty annoying when I come home and see what’s in my bin that they didn’t take, and they take 1/2 of the sets. I bring lots of 2 piece outfits in and have them clearly TOGETHER, and they literally will take the top and not the bottoms. Now the outfit is worthless to me. Irritating as hell.

I rarely leave reviews on any businesses, until now.
Staff there is very rude and short. Staff are not welcoming nor approachable. I had questions about an item and was brushed off. I’ve never experienced this, this is my first and last time coming here.
They can do better!

Went and dropped off a whole bag of clothes and some other stuff as well and they only took 2 toys, one pair of shoes and what looks like only 1% of what was clothes. all clean. I only got $11. Honestly really disappointed most of what I drop off wasn’t worn at all, had no stains and clean. All things folded nicely. They didn’t take the time to explain the process to me they all just rushed me out. In my opinion I wouldn’t recommend going there if you’re looking for cash for your child’s old clothes and toys. And everything you keep from what I had was about 25$ and up.

Recently I dropped a tote off to this store to sell some clothing items. The lady said 2 hour wait, which was fine. I received a text message 15 minutes later saying that my buy with once upon a child was complete. No big deal. When I returned home, I planned on refolding everything- but there was no need. They didn't even go through my tote. Everything was exactly how I dropped it off. Not even the top layer of folded shirts were touched. BUT that's okay because I went to "KID to KID" and they're much more professional & accurate. They bought almost everything. ? I hope this review helps to keep people away from this place. ?

Good luck actually getting anyone not too lazy to through your stuff. Made the excuse of things needed to be washed and brought back. We washed those clothes twice and folded them in the tote. They were just too lazy to go through that much with how busy they were.
I've seen items they sell on the shelf in much worse condition than mine, let alone their supposed "strict guidelines."

Not all orange tags, not all S/S items, and items weren't marked any differently to show that they are included or not included, so you are meant to guess until you come up to the register.
Ce-era(CB) was really rude to us and our child. She pointed out that the orange tag and spring/summer items we got aren't included in the sale and we said "Thats fine." Our child asked "Hi, how's your day?" she looked at him, and ignored him. Threw everything in the bag, tossed the recipt in the bag and shoved the bag into my so's hand. Don't know what we did to upset her, but she was mean

stuff is priced higher than new so every shelf is clogged. didn't want to have to dig just to look a few toys. if I wanted to do that I would go to the goodwill bins
