I rented an upstairs 10x15 from this location for about a year. They sent a letter in the mail after 60 days explaining they'd be raising the rent $50 on the unit. So they get you moved in and jack up the rates. I got an upstairs unit because they claimed to have a lift. The lift broke a month after moving in and it has not been fixed for the ENTIRE YEAR I've been there. I've tried waiting to move out for the lift to be fixed because it is going to be an awful job up and down the stairs. The waiting was pointless. Don't bother trying to reach anyone on the phone during business hours. They are understaffed to skeleton crew numbers. Every worker I've talked to was friendly and explained that which is why I gave the second star. It's not their fault. It's the greedy Extra Space corporation collecting the rent and not spending anything on repairs or employees. There's no excuse for it. I'm moving my stuff down the road to Fort Wayne Downtown storage.

My issues were resolved very quickly when the elevator was not working. Only reason for not being 5 stars is that it seemed there was a couple homeless people inside that may be renting units. Doesn’t make me feel super safe leaving my items here

Bill is an awesome property manager, friendly, great customer service and super professional! If you need a storage unit, check out extra space storage on main street in west central and contact Bill. A+++ would recommend this place and management.

The right amount of space that the stuff are in. The price is reasonable. The lift is a good idea as long as the place isn’t too busy otherwise the waiting is quite an annoying. I would like to have had a map showing which entrance was the closest to the lift.

Staff has been friendly
The storage unit I rented was clean and ready to go when I got there
Just enough space for what I needed

This place is the best. Totally easy to work with and have help from. I moved my furniture in this summer when it was 100 degress and one of the workers gave us many free bottles of water when it felt like were dying. And then i was having problems with my units and lock and Billan was the best assist ever in that. 10/10

Our unit was clean and I like that the lock for our unit was provided. My only concern is lack of outdoor lighting for after hours drop off in the dark. I also like the fact you can enter with the app. No remembering codes etc.

Ordered a second floor storage unit because the website says they have a lift. Lift was broken down no one informed me and had move a couch up to flights of stair.

Doesn't make sense not to have a working freight elevator why make your customers extra work climbing stairs

Extra Space Storage always threatens their customers. I would not recommend them for any long term storage.

This is the first time I’ve bought a storage unit, and the worker walked me through every single detail. Even helped explain how the hours actually work because the sign on the doer was confusing.
