Yesterday I had a disappointing experience at this store. I asked the cashier if I should tap my card to pay, and she said yes. When I tapped it, the card didn’t work, and instead of calmly addressing the issue, the cashier looked at the screen and said, “You broke my computer.” I was shocked and told her, “No, you told me to tap it.” She responded rudely, “Not all cards can be tapped,” as if it was my fault.
Then she called the manager and told her, “She broke the computer.” I explained that I didn’t break anything; I simply followed her instructions. The manager asked what card I was using, and I answered. Without apologizing or addressing the situation professionally, the manager just went to the other register, pulled out a receipt (which only had prices, no names), and handed it to me.
Throughout the entire interaction, neither the cashier nor the manager greeted me, smiled, or apologized for the confusion. This lack of professionalism and courtesy was unacceptable. I hope Save A Lot trains its employees better on customer service and communication.

They always have prices that are affordable for many families. The place was clean and had a diversity of products.
