I have been with Star for more than two decades. I Joined Star because the original team was so polite and helpful. It felt like they remembered me when I came by. In more than twenty years things have not changed, I still feel welcomed and remembered. They have been there when I have had issues and have always found a way to help. I've already reviewed you guys before the several emails I got asking to review. I am not pleased with this bank and can't wait to be done with it. The service that was provided over a year ago was awful, and now everything is turning into automated services so there's never an actual person in front of you to speak to. Only online, it's not personable, and when it was the service sucked. So no not thrilled. Hope I stop receiving emails to review at this point. I was ignoring them as I said I have reviewed in the past but now it seems like I am getting them every other day, so I guess I will put in the same review being that nothing has changed.

In the last week we had a video teller transpose our account # which was stamped on our checks and deposit $17,000. into someone else's account. It took several days for the bank to correct their error.Yesterday I deposited $4,800. through the video teller which took forever to do. Then when I got back to the office checked our account online and the deposit had been added, then withdrawn from our account. They did correct this morning. I'm losing my confidence in Star's services. We have been a longtime business and personal customer.

I have been wildly unhappy with this bank for quite some time. I would not have added my review but I received an email and two text messages asking for a review. I can only prove one instance but on several occasions in the last year I have made deposits into my checking account just for them to completely disappear. The one time that I can actually prove with witnesses is I deposited a check from my husband's bank account into the Shirley Indiana ATM. Later all traces of the deposit disappeared. My husband later noticed that the check has never cleared his business account as well. So in short, I 100% recommend a different bank for your needs.

I have banked with Star Financial since 1987. Always professional and courteous. Very informative when I’ve had questions or concerns. I love the North and South branches in Marion. The tellers are always pleasant and the new Orbie is great! Also the drive thru tellers always so polite! Great asset to our community.

I have been with STAR for many years now, I think since 1994 or before. I'm not sure of the exact year. I know I worked for them as a Collections agent for a while in 1995. I had to leave for family reasons, but was treated very well. I have seen my family and friends jump from bank to bank, and most are still not happy, but I wouldn't leave STAR. I have had only positive experiences from them in all those years. I an a local musician who travels all around the state each month and I have no problem finding a STAR branch to do my business. Thank you, STAR Financial Bank for being there for me all these years.

I had lost my debit card and was a bit panicked. I called the local branch and explained what had happened. Within minutes my old card was deactivated and I had a new card. The process was stress free!
