The entire complex is clean. No problems with the main gate or the doors on the units. Key pick up or drop off is simple, as is payment. Even the tree frogs are happy there.

Stored here for 1-1/2 years. No issues at all. The manager came immediately to help when I had a problem once with my lock to show me how it worked. Fencing looks like needs replaced now.

My son had the truck parked so the ramp would go into the hallway making it easier to load items.
Man came up and very rudely told him to move the truck that he couldnt park like that. There was plenty of room for another vehicle to get around my truck.
The man rudely told me not to drive thru the grass and not park in the gas. I don't believe I went in the grass with my vehicle. I don't know for sure but almost positive.
But my granddaughter were setting up a little tea party in the grass. Of course I laid out a blanket she got her tea set ready and that's when the man fussed about the grass. We put the tea set on the driving area in front of my vehicle..other than moving truck. We quit playing ball in the grass too. I admit I am on the heavy side but my granddaughter is 5 years old and 50 pounds. This really upset her for that man to talk to us like that. She was scared and wanted to leave. We let her start loading things small enough for her to handle.
It was uncalled for that he portrayed himself and that business.

I wouldn’t go to the storage facility unless you want to be talked down to and belittled. The groundskeeper was very rude and judgmental. Even if we weren’t parked correctly, I feel that he should’ve approached us in a different manner rather than running down there shaking his head, saying no no no at us in front of our children when all he had to do was ask us politely to move it, but there was nothing polite about this man . He was looking for a fight but instead I told him I would pray for him.

I moved out of the unit on 7/15 and went to the office to turn in my keys. Even though there cars at the front of the office no one answered the door. The notice on the door said call the number below. I called after I returned back to Chicago and was told to send the keys in. I shipped them via UPS and it took several attempts to deliver the package.
They charged my credit card for next months rent even though they knew I moved out. They refused to issue a refund for the next month.
I have rented several units for my cars and never had this problem.
I would never rent from Fort Wayne Storage again. Be very care if you do. There are better alternatives in Fort Wayne.
Their customer service is very poor offering no help.

Being 24 hours and self service makes things really easy. Very clean place 3 years no issues my stuff was good.

I stored furniture for a year and everything stayed dry and clean, no mice (I have experienced all those from a different storage place). Easy set up and close out of my contract. I would highly recommend Ft Wayne Storage.
