“If your bike is making a noise that sounds like a blender full of spoons, don’t panic—just take it to Nick. He’ll listen to it for three seconds, squint like he’s receiving visions from the motorcycle gods, and somehow immediately know what’s wrong.
Nick has that magical combination of expert mechanic and friendly neighborhood comedian. One minute he’s explaining something in perfect technical detail, and the next he’s cracking a joke that makes you forget your bike was moments away from becoming lawn décor.
He’s also shockingly honest. If something doesn’t need fixing, he’ll tell you. If it does need fixing, he’ll tell you in a way that somehow softens the blow—usually with some sarcastic commentary about how your engine “has been screaming for help for at least three oil changes.”
Fast, funny, helpful, and unreasonably good at what he does—Nick’s the guy you want working on your bike.

“Great experience. Had my car dropped off over the weekend for them to check out on Monday. Suspected a faulty alternator and they called early Monday to confirm the issue and give a repair quote, was fixed by early afternoon. Nobody unearthed any mysterious additional problems to fix or tried to up-sell extra services; they fixed what was wrong and my car is running great again. Will definitely be using them again for any future issues my vehicles have.”
“Fixed my flat in 5 minutes! I was in town for a work conference and discovered, as I was getting ready to drive home, that my car had a flat. I called around to all the closest tire places, and all told me it would be at least an hour just to be seen. Thomas told me to come in and he’d get me fixed right away, and he sure did! “I’ve always been on the fence of taking my vehicle to any shop due to being almost completely ripped off. But at some point I didn’t have a choice , so I took my car to Tom Steele and I’m amazed at the professional work , quality of work and how well they do repairs and are completely honest with you. Yes it does cost to have certain repairs done but they are cheaper than all of the other auto repair shops in Fort Wayne . My children and grandchildren and my husband and I only take our vehicles here! They staff is awesome and help out in every way . In today’s world Tom Steele is the best all the way around.”

“Kruse is a good auto repair place. I have brought my vehicle here a few times, and I've been very happy so far. Quick and friendly service, but hard to find. It's behind the Shell station off Lima road near Till road. Their prices are very reasonable. I have an older vehicle. They don't push pricey repairs I don't need. I get a good vibe from this shop. I feel like they are honest and not going to rip me off. I've found a new shop to take care of my car.”

“Typically, I would rather go to the dentist and get teeth pulled than to go to an auto garage; however, Dwayne and the crew are the best and I am always impressed with their work and diligence. Highly recommended!”
“Great shop for replacing suspension. I furnished parts for complete front and back strut replacement and brakes with new rotors - they charged flat $100/$100 for brakes and $100/$150 for struts. They recommended replacing sway bar end links while they had it apart, which makes sense as the rubber bushings wear on approximately the same timeline as the struts - so that added $250 to the job (parts included). Finally, with everything stitched up an alignment was performed in-house. The car - 2011 Toyota Avalon (a large sedan) drives straight and stiff - just like new. It is back to the drivers' car that it once was.
I'm very pleased with their work and will recommend them to anyone going deeper with maintenance than just wheels/tires.”
“I recently switched from a larger local “tire shop” to John down off Goshen rd in Fort Wayne. Never heard about or met any of these guys until this year. Walked in, explained that I have personal and commercial tire needs. Although it seemed that they may cater a little more towards larger Agricultural and semi tires. John was more than willing to handle us. Now we see them almost daily. Our needs are met. The guys are great to work with. They are willing to go the extra mile to make things right. More than happy with the pricing as well. We all know tires aren’t cheap. John even goes as far as to do “drop off and pick ups” for us when needed! Hats off!”
