The room they assigned me did not have the heating working and that day it was outside at -12 degrees Celsius, the front desk told me that they did not have another room, that the next day they would change me to one that did have the heating working, the next day I They changed rooms, the first day I didn't even sleep because of the cold. The hotel is very old and lacks maintenance!!!

It's been over a month and they still havent refunded me my $224. I just called again and now they saying they cant refund me because they never charged my card. I have proof that they did. Time to take other actions.
This motel is the worst travelodge I have ever been in. Let's start with the outside environment. Shady people outside that watch your every move. I was so bothered by the people around that I went and put my gun on me. Drug activity, prostitution, people sitting in their cars that arent even staying there. I was outside getting something out of my car and a truck pulled in with two guys in it. They asked me for the wifi to the motel and I said I wasnt given it. They continued to ask me if I'm from around here and if I knew people around there. The one guy asked me if I am staying there with anyone. I lied and said yes my husband was in the room. Then they started watching a younger female who came out of her room. I did go and report them to the office and went to the store. They were gone when I came back.
Now the inside. I know the saying you get what you pay for but this was ridiculous. The floors were nasty, the ac/heater didnt turn on, the lights didnt work, the door had to be pulled up on to shut, the refrigerator didn't work so when I was trying to change the temp to make it work I could smell freon and it made me light headed, I shut the door and the smell was in the room, the room also smelled of marijuana coming through the vent in the bathroom from the room next door, the walls were disgusting, the toilet in the bathroom tilted from side to side, the shower was disgusting, bugs were on the walls. The only thing good was the bed. After all this, I went to the office and told the woman all this stuff and I just wanted to check out. She said ok no problem. I said I need a refund, and she informed me I had to go through booking.com to get it. So I called booking and they said they had to contact the motel. I sat on hold and when booking returned he said no one was answering so he would send a email. two days later I got a email from booking. It stated travelodge will not give me any accommodations back. Wait what? I was told by travelodge that they had no say. Apparently they do. I was robbed of $350 for a stay I never had. Do not stay here!

No cups in the room. No cases on the pillows. One thin blanket on bed full of cigarette holes. Heater never got warm. One thin bath towel. I have never stayed in such a lousy motel that I paid that much for! To top it off, I was charged $50 in case I damaged the room! Supposedly that will be refunded upon inspection at checkout. These people should have paid ME to stay there! I hope there are no bugs. I checked, but didn't tear everything apart to check. Do not stay here!!!

Absolutely disgusted with our stay. My family and I just checked in (9pm). Mind you we have four kids. First off we are in a non smoking room yet when you open the door all you can smell is cigarette smoke and weed while trash sits outside the door. The inside was much worse. Look like junkies have been staying in this room. Secondly, no one knows how to properly clean either, there was soo much trash and dirt on the floor, dirty ass tub, dirty ass sink and looked like it had been used for nose candy. This room was all around disgusting!!! Lastly, you can guarantee we will NOT be staying here EVER again!!!😡🤬 The location of the hotel is an okay area, we have no problems with that.

**Excellent Stay at Travelodge – Highly Recommend!**
I recently stayed at Travelodge and had an exceptional experience. From the moment I checked in, the staff’s customer service was top-notch. They were friendly, attentive, and went out of their way to make sure all of my needs were met. It really felt like they cared about providing a great experience for their guests.
The room was spotless and well-maintained. Cleanliness is always a top priority for me, and Travelodge definitely exceeded my expectations in that regard. The bed was comfortable, and all the amenities in the room worked perfectly.
Another thing that stood out was how safe and secure I felt during my stay. The hotel is located in a good area, and I noticed the security measures in place, which gave me extra peace of mind.
Overall, I highly recommend Travelodge if you're looking for great value, friendly service, and a clean, safe place to stay. I will definitely be staying here again!

This is our go to hotel. If you’re looking for an affordable, clean hotel in Fort Wayne you can’t go wrong with Travel Lodge by Wyndham. The staff is awesome and very friendly. I also feel safe bringing my family here.

Room was infested with fleas! Linens were filthy. Room smelled of body odor! The attendant acknowledged this and told me he would give me a refund, but by the time that repacked my bags into the vehucle and went to the front desk, the refund was all of a sudden denied. They must need the money worse than I do. By far the worst hotel experience that I have ever had!

This was an interesting place. The outdoor pool was shut at end of September. There were signs to fitness centre but that didn't exist. The signs to the rooms were confusing but we worked it out. Unfortunately the room smelt of smoke a lot and the motorway was pretty noisy with the door open when we ventilated the room but it was basic enough

Walkability: It wad easy to walk to almost any gas station fast good and even a few restaurants
