I usually try and stay away from Walmart and tonight I reminded myself why. I came in because I needed some spray paint, deodorant and a few other things. Also bought just new grill the other day and my propane tank was empty so I brought it to get swapped. yes I totally admit I got here 20 min before they closed but I rushed through the store and got to the self checkout like a minute after the intercom went off saying there was 15 min till close. proceeded to ask the guy that watches people check themselves out if I could get a propane swap... he literally threw his hands up, looked at his watch real aggressively (basically threw a fit like a child) and said "well if I can find her before you get done checking out maybe", which he did and that person said it was too late. now mind you it's actually more like 12 minutes before close and I'm parked in the closest parking spot to the propane tanks, the tanks are literally right outside the door. it would take 2 min to unlock that and swap me but they decided that their job was so hard they couldn't walk 30 feet to unlock a cage and make a customer happy 12 min before close. A new Meijer just got built by my house and that's where my business will be from now on! this was the Walmart on Maysville road btw.

Had a chocolate chip muffin from the Walmart bakery, got food poisoning. Overall, not very choice. Two stars.

Yesterday, I got fired from Walmart for being sick too often within my first 90 days. The store is the reason I got sick so often. I got hired, and literally thrown into the position I applied for without any training whatsoever. Ended up sick the first day. My so-called "Coach" Switched my position two more times because every position kept on getting me sick. Never got any training, just got told I have to complete a job. This coach put me in the position of COVID-19 screener for the employees. It is mandatory for employees to be screened every shift, yet maybe 2% of the employees at the store that I worked at got screened once a week. The only people that were training new employees were other hourly employees. The managers just wander the store critiquing everything everyone was doing. As a COVID-19 screener, I was told to sit at a table for hours on end, and wait for employees to get their temperature taken. Employees don't wear their masks even though there's a mandate telling them to. I don't know if I have Covid. I get a test this coming Wednesday. As a disabled adult, I feel my rights were violated by the store management and therefore I am looking into filing an Americans with Disabilities Act complaint. Walmart doesn't care about customers or employees and that is why the customers suffer at the hands of crappy customer service.

Check cashing is useless. They say their system is too weak, but that any other place would be able to cash it.

This place is a joke. No one wants to work. Its just social time for all the so called employees. I waited an hour for a manager and no one ever came. I couldnt find a single one in the whole store. All i wanted was someone with keys to get me a pair of binoculars from the sporting goods section. Their selection is garbage too. Dont go there expecting much because youll be disappointed. I would compare shopping here to shopping at a gas station with no employees. Avoid this place at all costs. I will not be returning here after spending thousands here at this location. I spend my money here and couldn't get any assistance. I bet if i were to steal everything in my cart then i may get some attention.

Every time I go to Walmart the experience gets worse. They always have only about 3 lanes open for the entire store. Service is beyond bad. With Oil changes you have to wait several hours. I wish a Costco would hurry up and open near me so I have other options. Walmart sucks!

My experience with this particular Walmart is that they are very unhelpful in their bakery area. I have tried calling there to order a cake twice in the last couple of months and the phone just rings and rings and rings. When someone finally answers the line after at least two tries they never have what you want in stock and are not willing to make it for you unless you give them like 3 days notice.

This is the 2nd newest Wal-Mart in Fort Wayne. The store is always clean and well kept. The one downside here is the people that shop here. This Wal-Mart in particular has an unusually annoying client base. But, eh. Where else are you going to get cheap goods!
