The new layout is too much like a mall. Not cool at all. Please put it back, you also shorted the aisles with the big displays. The store is so busy, why can't we have aisles that two carts can be in comfortably? There's obviously room.

#### Walmart at 10420 Maysville Rd, Fort Wayne, IN 46835 - Average Shopping ExperienceRating: ⭐⭐⭐The Walmart located at 10420 Maysville Rd, Fort Wayne, IN 46835 offers an average shopping experience. While it has its merits, there are also areas where improvement is needed.Firstly, the store is easily accessible with ample parking available. The exterior is well-maintained, and the layout inside is generally organized. However, there are times when certain sections can feel cluttered, making it slightly challenging to navigate through the aisles. The customer service at this Walmart is hit or miss. Some staff members are friendly and helpful, while others seem disengaged and uninterested in assisting customers. It would be beneficial for the store to focus on consistent training and ensuring that all employees provide excellent service. The product selection is decent, with a variety of items available across different departments. However, there have been instances where certain items were out of stock or in short supply. It would be beneficial for the store to improve its inventory management to ensure a more reliable shopping experience. The checkout process can be a bit slow during peak hours, with long lines and limited registers open. This can lead to frustration and a longer wait time.In summary, the Walmart at 10420 Maysville Rd, Fort Wayne, IN 46835 provides an average shopping experience. While it has convenient parking and a decent product selection, improvements in customer service and inventory management would enhance the overall experience for shoppers.

This one star review is specifically for the grocery pickup service. I don't actually mind the store itself.I have been using Walmart's grocery pickup or delivery services ever since the pandemic. I have not had any issues with it at all until my last couple orders. It has gotten so bad that I felt that I had to write this review in the hopes that somebody will see it in something will change. I started doing pick up instead of delivery because I could save the $10 on the tip by just going to the store and waiting a few minutes because it's not that far away from me. This was all well and good when I would only have to wait between 5 and 15 minutes. On my last three orders though I have suddenly begun having to wait absurd lengths of time. Three orders ago the issue was that some items had been missed and they had to go and get them which made the wait a lot longer. That's not a huge deal and I can understand a mistake like that. Two orders ago I was waiting and called in to check on my status in the queue because I had been waiting for like 45 minutes. The person told me that I hadn't even been properly checked in. At that point she told me that they would get it out to me as quickly as possible. After waiting another 45 minutes in (calling in two more times), they finally got it out to me. With that taking an hour and a half I could have just gotten the groceries myself and would have if I had any idea it would take that long. This most recent time I waited for an hour checking in every 15 minutes or so. I don't like to be a bother, but I wanted to be certain that I hadn't been missed like the previous time. On the fourth call they let me know that I was "at the bottom of the queue" and that there were people who were waiting for 2 hours at that point. The thing is though the only way I could possibly be at the bottom of the queue is if nobody else had shown up and checked in after me. I was in a good parking spot to see most of the grocery pickup parking spots. I counted 27 people arrive after me. In addition, in both spots directly adjacent to me, people arrived, received their groceries, and then left after I arrived. The person on the phone told me to either cancel my order or come back tomorrow and try again. I opted to cancel my order. I actually needed those items. I drove 15 minutes to the nearest Kroger and bought them there instead. From here on out I intend to double check how much an order will cost by inputting the exact same order on Kroger's website. I will only be purchasing from Walmart if it is significantly cheaper. I will also be only doing delivery as I'm not going to waste my time anymore. I will tip my driver, but I will do so in cash to make sure that Walmart can't skim from the online payment (I don't know if they actually do that, but I know some places do.)If you are another potential customer thinking about doing an online order, just be prepared that you may have to wait a very very long time.

Went here to purchase a computer, selected 2 different models and was told they both were not in stock and I would have to order them on line at Walmart where they were significantly more expensive, went to 3 different Walmart locations with the same result! This seems like a form of bait and switch, I will report same to the Attorney Generals office.

Thank you to the bakers at the Maysville Rd. location. When I arrived to pick up the full custom sheet cake I had ordered over the phone for four of our kids' birthday party, I had realized it was at a Walmart in Maysville, KY instead of Maysville Rd. Fort Wayne, IN. Luckily, they had several half sheet cakes ready that I could choose from and had them decorated in a jiffy, saving the day!

I purchased two new tires and was told I would get a call or text when my service was complete. No such contact was made. I called several times before anyone answered the phone. Once I did get an associate on the line, I was informed my service had been completed for a couple hours. I picked up my car, and my door now looks like the attached photo. The service was completed but the customer experience was poor.

Rude employees, rude management, food ain't fresh. Food quality is like a d-. The staff are rude and extremely lazy. I really like how they pretty much make you ring up your own stuff, bag your own stuff, they even want you to put there cart in there little designated spot. We'll I say Walmart I work for you? I need my Healthcare and paycheck. You should a seen the look on the fat women's face who works the door in coldwater. She asked to see my receipt, I said NO. By the way there is no law requiring you to provide any receipt to any Walmart employee. They want to see it then employee a cashier so she can see it for herself. The lady had the nerve to tell me she gonna call the law if I don't let her see my receipt. I laughed told her to call her momma for all I cared. She watched me walk out graceful and cheery. So yes Walmart sucks now.

Went in at 9a for oil change with 1 car ahead of me, Megan at desk was rude rolling her eyes at customers and scoffing at them. Fast forward 2 hrs same vehicle that was in front of me still not done, speak with Megan again who gets attitude calls for manager. This guy named Dennis comes along just as rude and tells me it takes 2-3 hrs for an oil change and gets in my face. Um No sir it does not take 2-3hrs for oil change on a single vehicle. Took car across town to another Walmart, in and out in 30 minutes

Won’t be returning to this Walmart or anymore ever again. I have a clean record and background check, have never done anything illegal, and am a well known volunteer. I came in to get dog food, water for my baby, and bottle nipples. We were going to get a movie. (We spend $5-$50 here every visit on just movies). Apparently they don’t sell movies anymore because they’re “going digital”. I have a 3 week old infant and during checkout she started to cry, in which I heard 2 or 3 people complain about. My husband was actively at the self checkout trying to pay, and our checkout was at the end near the major aisle to leave so I stepped forward and was walking in a small circle right in front of the self checkout to keep her from crying too much. At no point in time did I ever try to make a move toward the door Some toothless clerk with a mouth full of disgustingness (I have no idea what it was, she literally had a giant wad of some gross looking multi colored items in her mouth) came over and stepped in front of my cart and says “can I see your receipt for a second, my scanner is only showing 6 gallons of water” in a snobby rude tone and smacking her lips. I was literally spinning my cart next to the self checkout and she could clearly see my husband still trying to pay, so I told her “he’s still paying, my baby is crying and I’m trying to calm her down so unless you want to hear her scream your going to have to give us a minute”, at which my husband and I just took 2 gallons of my daughters water out of the cart because we didn’t have a receipt to SHOW HER yet as we where still in the process of trying to pay. Sure enough, we DID pay for 8 gallons of water but only got 6 because the clerk lady couldn’t wait for a receipt since she was too busy smacking her lips on whatever was in her mouth. It’s time to bring back checkouts because I am so sick and tired of being accused of stealing when I have never once stolen a day in my life Ava gave the background to back it. I spend $1200 a month on JUST groceries to feed my family, this isn’t including the clothes I buy for my family (4 kids under 5, 1 that’s an infant, myself and my husband) toilet paper, paper plates, wipes, diapers, formula, etc. my household acclimates about $2700 with of expenses not including bills that we buy at Walmart. If this ever happens again I will take all of my money to another store and lose every interaction I have ever had at Walmart all over the internet. I will never step foot into another Walmart without recording from this point forward either.

Come to get my oil changed. Took three hours had to buy insulated bags to keep my refrigerator stuff cool. I look out the window and all the guys are looking at a woman's car that had something wrong with it. That just took way to long .
