“Needed a battery change, which I would typically do myself, but the good folks at Mopar decided to put the battery behind the front fender of the car. When the weather is nice I don't mind crawling down there to do it, but in the middle of winter I decided I'd rather pay someone to do it, than crawl around on my cold, wet garage floor. I took it to Green Auto, and Scott took care of it for what I considered to be a very reasonable charge. He did it so much faster than I could have, and it's obvious he's a good, professional mechanic. “Out of the three times I’ve been here, two have been absolutely wonderful for my oil change. Once with an older man who informed me of the day’s women’s discount (I did not know of) and helped figure out what oil my car used (which I did not know) and the third with a man who, although seemed stressed, told me how long the oil filter that I needed, which they did not have at the moment, would take to deliver and offered me another time (he also went through every process correctly for the change). The second of which, was absolutely horrid.
For background, I am female and was 18 at the time of the change. At this point I knew what my oil costed and what kind I needed. After getting in I hopped out and told them I was there for an oil change, to which the man looked at his buddy, chuckled, then looked back at me asking “are you sure? It’s expensive.” I said I was sure and he proceeded to ask if I “even knew what kind of oil I needed.” I told him I needed synthetic oil, it would be $80, and he sarcastically responded “ooooo, someone knows her stuff. They didn’t reset my screen or place the reminder sticker on my car, which didn’t matter since I knew how to reset my own screen and know when to get my oil change, but it made me think about not coming back to the location for my third change. Hoping my 4th visit is more pleasant.”

“Travis worked on my 2013 Malibu and I was beyond happy with the services. Not only did he fix and go over the issue I was having. But he also inspected the whole vehicle to let me know if there was anything else going on that I didn’t know about. He showed me some other stuff that needed to he done. But he didn’t try upselling me and telling me I needed it right now! He just told me it’s not in horrible shape at the moment but it will get there so we can replace it later on. I feel like anywhere else they would’ve tried to sell me all that right there. He’s for sure one of the few honest mechanics I’ve seen around! If you want ti go somewhere and not have to worry about being taking advantage of when you don’t know much about vehicles he’s your guy not only will he show you in person he will educate you about what’s going on and that right there is amazing to me because people act like they don’t have time for that kind of stuff. Seems like most of these places only care about your money and not if you’re going to return or not.”

“I have mixed feelings about the service center. I know they have a lot of overhead and costs, but $50 for wiper blade replacement, $250 for rear pads, and $350 for a new battery. They are very nice and explained things, but it truly is amazing anyone can afford a vehicle anymore.”
