Called 3 local places to get rid of our non running grain truck and the Crushers man was the only one to call back. He called, came to check it out, picked it up and brought back a check personally. Very satisfied.

Called Crusher's to dispose of my old vehicle this past Monday, tge 21st. The gentleman I spoke to (he did not give his name) explained he couldn't get to it until this past Saturday, the 26th, but he would call when he was heading to come and get it. Saturday came and I waited for his call ... and waited ... and waited. About 3:30, I decided to give them a call. The same gentleman answered (and again did not give his name). Yes he remembered my original call. He “was leaving right now to come and get the car.†An hour later and my car was still sitting. Another call and once again the gentleman answered, still not identifying himself. I was a little bent out of shape because I had spent the better part of my day at the location where my car sat (not my home) and asked if he planned to come out and why he failed to do what he promised. He stumbled through some explanation about being busy with customers (what was I, chopped liver?). Offered no apology. I was told “just give me a call when you want it picked up tomorrow (Sunday) and I'll be right out.†Being a gullible fool, I tried to call at 10:30 today (Sunday). It rang and rang. Needless to say, my old car still sits there. Talk about lack of customer service. What happened to saying you are going to do something and then actually doing it. Do not waste your time with this business. They used to be a reliable place to go to but with the different ownership, they are not worth the bother.

I bought 2 used tires for my car from them. They even had more than two 16" tires that would fit my car. The total cost for 2 pretty decent tires, mount, balancing and put back on the car was less than $80.00 . Seems like it was worth driving 20 miles to their yard after calling them, since no shop in my town had any used 16" ones. Time will tell (just got them today), as long as they don't blow out I'm happy.

I was concerned about buying a transmission for my truck from a junkyard because of a bad experience years ago. Greg allayed my concerns saying " you don't stay in business for thirty years selling bad parts". He said the guy he gets them from has never given him a bad one. Well, we finally after many set backs, were able to get the tranny installed. NO WORKING GEARS. I called for my money back and ...sorry, that was over thirty days ago! no way we can make things right! Use this place as a last resort if you must, but only as a last resort.
