Madison Street Salvage is an architectural salvage and antique outlet for a non-profit historic preservation group. The shop is supported by donations and deconstruction efforts. Great finds abound for anyone restoring a home, looking for vintage pieces, or just wandering the aisles. It is a cool place with amazing lighting, lots of hardware, doors, glass shades, unique furniture, and all kinds of odds and ends. There is a great selection of antiques, collectibles, furniture, hardware, and items of historic interest. Prices range but seem very fair, with some professionally restored, impressive pieces and other items in a low price range. Stock rotates regularly, so it pays to keep an eye on what is new. The staff and volunteers are friendly, helpful, and super nice. It is an awesome place with lots of vintage collectibles, reasonably priced, with the proceeds going to a good cause. There is something for everyone.
owner and staff are so friendly and welcoming. plenty of old things to sort through and lots of wood to be able to use. I go here often for tjings i could use for art projects.
