Cute little shop in Franklin, Indiana. I was shopping in Franklin as part of their annual holiday shopping affair. I love thrifting and antique shopping. I picked a nice old 12 pane window in this shop about 2 years ago. I like digging through the treasures to be had here. This is not a huge shop but still fun. This time I found a small bundle of old recipes and newspaper clippings. It was do much fun digging through them when I got home! Some recipes I will try and some there was absolutely no way I would try lol. The gal that runs this shop is always so friendly and seems to get joy from speaking to every person who comes in. I will stop in this shop every year during the holidays.

For some reason I felt very unwelcome walking in this building. I didn't even take any pics inside. Even felt wierd checking in on Yelp. Lots of stuff that all seemed very random. Some beautiful very worn quilts, women's hats, a few men's tie bars. Lots of items but unlike many other junk / antique shops we've been in. Still giving 4 stars because my weird feeling had nothing to do with the business itself. Didn't see anything either of us were drawn to. Wonder if they've ever had any odd occurrences in this building?

When I visit my sister after Christmas she always takes us to Franklin antique shopping. I love this shop and I never leave empty-handed.

I’m from Noblesville. I stopped by this shop and was impressed with how unique everything was. I definitely will be back the next time I visit Franklin.

As we continued our walk down Jefferson Street we ran across Thanks For The Thyme. The exterior is attractive, easy to find with street parking and a tranquil waterfall in front of the shop. They've been here for 21 years and have different vendors throughout. As soon as you walk into the sunroom it's like an advertisement for solar heat...nice and toasty on this chilly fall day. We were warmly greeted by a nice woman behind the desk who allowed us to explore without interruption. After admiring the skeleton in the apron holding a dutch oven, she explained the City of Franklin distributed the skeletons to be displayed in some form in the various businesses. Fun concept and I started to look for them as we explored Franklin. The rooms vary in size and each vendor has their own collections. Antiques, glassware, quilts, furniture, toys, clothing, books and primitives were mixed throughout the shop. I found a wonderful Weller bowl I really wanted to take home if space wasn't an issue. Downsizing isn't always a bright idea. If you're in Franklin and antiquing, stop by and explore this quaint shop filled with history on Jefferson Street.

I really liked this little shop. It's in an old house and has such a nice feeling. Prices are good and their is a pretty good selection of antiques and vintage items. I look forward to going back again.

Very reasonably priced items. Nice things and some not! Definitely worth a visit

This is a cute little antique shop that offers a nice variety of items. The main reason that I docked them a star is because this shop feels a bit cramped for my taste.

This was a fun and unexpected stop during an antiquing adventure in Franklin and Columbus, Indiana. Thanks for the Thyme is conveniently located next door to Salvage Sisters and a block away from Franklin Savage Co. These three stops make for a lovely morning of antiquing. Thanks for the Thyme reminded me of my grandma's house- it was filled with antiques and a hefty number of items that were western inspired. I also noticed there were some surprising items like beautifully weaved baskets and Asian items like Vietnamese conical hats and pottery. The space doesn't seem to have any particular organization but it works. The prices were reasonable and I'm amazed it out the door without making a purchase...during this visit

If you like looking for antiques and collectibles in a setting that matches, then this is the place for you! The single story house converted to a shop has lots of architectural details that are very cool. The front of the shop is easily identifiable from its flowing water fountain out front and a glass "showroom" type of porch on the front. Inside, we found a number of cool furniture pieces, some old toys, and a variety of dishes, clothing, and knick knacks to browse. The staff was very personable and directed us to other shops and a salvage store that we might enjoy looking at as well. Not sure why there have been negative reviews, but we really enjoyed browsing here. Review #2079

I went for the first time last week one day and I loved all the different and interesting things they offer. I enjoyed meeting Lynn and I'd already met Jo when she came into our shop down the street. Such dear ladies! I'll be back another day and I'll bring a friend.

Horrible hole in the wall. The old lady with short dark hair that works there is so rude. Avoid this place!
