“Friendliest staff! Rooms are very clean and come with many amenities (fridge, microwave, coffee maker, hair drier, iron). The beds are comfortable. Breakfast was good. The indoor pool is nice. Cookies and coffee in the lobby!”

“We were pleasantly surprised on our stay here. You can tell they are upgrading the hotel. The front of the hotel looks nice and new. The service was extremely friendly. The rooms were nice and comfortable. The bathroom was a bit small, but useable.
They have breakfast in the morning, could upgrade a bit there. Couple of things were broken and the eggs were over done. But both of these are easily fixable.
We would stay here if we were in the area again.”

Definitely started off rough, I'm not gonna lie
I walked in and it was a ghost town
Nobody was at the counter and I rang the bell a few times and waited probably close to 10 minutes until a gentleman ran down the hall

He apologized for the delay and was very kind throughout our interaction and got me and my grandfather checked in fairly quickly

I was a bit skeptical after seeing the reviews on Google previously (I booked this through Triple AAA without checking reviews, my fault lol)

But, it was a blessing in disguise

It was in a nice quiet area with not much traffic going by

I did not stop by the gym, however, I did take the polar Plunge into the pool because whooboy. That pool felt like it was barely above freezing
Luckily, I like cold water so, I did a couple of laps

Definitely not the cleanest pool but, it did what I wanted for it lol

Most importantly / what most people are waiting for.. the room

The room was very clean and handicap accessible

The only thing I would change about the room is that the handicap shower has a drain on the floor which the flowing water outpaces the drain rate so, the water almost started going into our room lol (but it didn't!)

The beds were very comfortable

Honestly, for the price, it couldn't be beat

After the 13 hours of driving we did, it was very nice to come and relax at this hotel

The following morning, breakfast opens at 6:30, the food was great
A variety of options including but not limited to: scrambled eggs, waffles, cereal, oatmeal with drinks such as coffee, milk, orange juice

The gentleman who helped get us breakfast/ took our room key upon checkout was very helpful as well!

Overall:
Staff: 4.5/5 (sorry, the delay at the beginning costed half a point lol)


Pool: 3.5/5 (Please clean the pool showers!)
