While Visiting French Lick my 2014 F150 suddenly had no power, the hotel I was at immediately recommended Dr Auto. It was 4:15 pm and was worried there wasn’t enough time to get help before they closed at 5pm. By 4:40 they loaded us and the truck up. Don the tow truck driver even volunteered to drive us over 25 minutes away to our campsite. Didn’t sleep much that night, being from out of town, Dr Auto looked very busy and we had to be out of our camp site in 36 hours to head home 4 hours away. No worries they called by 9:30 the next morning saying they had found a loose wire next to the new battery that been installed a few days before. Their computer scan showed a low voltage problem. They had already driven the truck for 15 miles to make sure that was the problem. Can’t express enough how thankful I am that they fixed the problem promptly at a more than fair price!

I was on vacation in the area when I had an issue with the brake system on my truck which would have left me stranded with no way to get home. Dr. Auto was able to get my truck in, diagnose and fix the issue with my brake lines all in the same day and get me back on the road. Extremely grateful. Very friendly, excellent service, fair prices. Highly recommend if you need service in this area.Services: General repairs & maintenance

Basically charged 55 to run codes when we already ran the codes for free. Wanted an inspection on the engine to see the specific problem but they wanted to play a guessing game of “maybe this will fix it” to charge more money. Find a local reasonable mechanic instead!

Needed to update my review. I had an issue the last time I had my truck worked on there. Greg I belive was his name reached out to me about the issue. We discussed the problem and he explained what happened and stands behind his employees work. It's nice to have a local buisness that is honest and if there is an issue they will take care of it. Great group of guys working there! I will be back for any issues I have with my vehicles! Thanks again Greg for reaching out to me.

Gave 5 stars for now. So far they diagnosed the problem with my car and quoted me a price to fix. Haven't gotten fixed or billed yet. I'll update when it gets done. I'm trying this place again after 6yrs ago I swore I'd never go back. Heard they have better mechanics and the owner is on the floor more often. Fingers crossed!

Requested a tow truck and they said no thanks They gonna pass. I mean who does that? I guess if they feel like towing they will and if they don't they won't.

I'm a big fan of Joe at the front desk. He's super committed to customer service. He explains things carefully, takes plenty of time, and goes out of his way to explain costs and options. They pick up the phone immediately. They get you in right away. They believe in their staff and tell you so. Then they make good on it.This might be the friendliest and most helpful mechanic's shop I've ever been to in my life. I am more than pleased with the service. I was treated fairly. I immediately took my second vehicle to have work done.The shop is clean and managed professionally. Go Joe, and thanks for your military service!
