I normally wouldn't bother with reviewing a DG but my experience here was memorable. An associate Kyler was so helpful to me in finding the right medicine in a pinch and had positive energy so much so you'd think he was a manager. It was very refreshing just passing through that there are still young people that care... The store itself was tidy and so was the parking lot

Closed on random days and times with a sign up, opened a self scan recently which helped them get rid of all their carts of stock. One really lovely staff, but everyone else is really judgy about what you are buying.

Some emloyees are rude, and disrespectful to customers. I for one, am very tired of it and will not shop the Galveston store again. I will also be writing a letter with times,dates, and the details to corporate. I've witnessed it happen to others and it has happened to me as well. Today, the cashier actually said to me, "you could have used the U Scan and I could have continued putting away my truck." I'm done ignoring bad customer service.

Usually find everything I need. Liz is always helpful, and so are the guys. Sometimes the app is a pain to use in the store!

It was amazing making the 20 minute walk here just to find out that they closed early yet again. 7 hours early this time. Maybe someone needs to do something to make employees want to stay employees.

I WISH I COULD GIVE -5⭐BECAUSE THATS WHAT THIS By far the worst dollar general I've been to from the nasty lazy poor hygiene employees to the fact they can't stop getting drunk while at work it's horrible they close at random for hours to "stock milk" it makes me wonder does the owner know what's going on because 20 people have reported this to the so called management it kinda seems that is where the problems start I never seen a store close when they have multiple people on clock I have seen them let a 15 person line build up with one cash register open and another walking around to look like they stock never seen them actually stock I have videos the owner would love to see I wish I could give -5 stars
