First time here - he diagnosed car trouble that nobody else recognized, fixed a squeaky part (the reason I came in), and gave me several diagnostics to follow up on. Follows up and calls in a timely fashion.
Second visit - easy drop off the previous night, easy pick up the next day, easy to schedule my appointment in advance. He did not complete the additional repairs we had spoken about, saving me several $$$ and allowing me to save those routine repairs for the future when they are needed. Very glad Phil's was recommended by another local and will continue to come back for the quality work being done.

Phil got me in on very short notice, my girlfriend's belt came off and I drove it up to him, he got it in and put back together by the evening even though he was busy. Thanks Phil for helping me out in a tight spot!!

The owner spent about 20 minutes explaining the warranty. Lowered the labor costs to what the warranty covered. We got the car in a reasonable time frame.

My truck looked really good before i went to phils automotive repair then he put a different motor in it charged me 1900.00 which was a crap engine. Promised he would find another motor. Never did his warenty blows. My truck got hit on his property motor no good I ended up selling to a junk yard. Crappy place to go

There are not enough stars to give Phil! He is not only a great mechanic, he has a level of integrity hard to put into words. I was passing through the area on a Friday evening on long a road trip to visit family over the holiday when my car began breaking down. I pulled off the highway and no other mechanic wanted to look at my car before Monday. Phil took my car in at 7:30pm, called in his son in to help him, cancelled his plans with is family, and had me back on the road at 10pm. I was going to be driving back home Easter evening. He asked me to bring the car back on my way home, after his holiday dinner with family so could make sure my son and I were safe to finish our long journey home, at no extra cost. His prices were VERY competitive when he knew I had no other choice to pay whatever he asked. He is very skilled and will forever have my respect and gratitude. He deserves your business and you'd be a fool to take your car anywhere else if your anywhere in the area.

Had his shop swap out engines on a Honda Element. The whole procedure went smooth as butter. Only one minor issue, the hood release pull was broke on their watch other than that very happy with the work and the price. Thanks PhilService: Engine repair
