Champs liquor in Gary Indiana was not for us. Gary Indiana should be called scary Indiana. Holy cow. Super super poor side of town, bars on the doors and windows. The the girl that worked there took 10 minutes to come out from the back and looked at us like, what the hell are you doing here. We took a wrong exit- I saw this little liquor store so I thought why not give them some business. Boy was I wrong. Do not stop here. Not recommended!

This place is one place that has very friendly and courteous employees. Every time I visit, I'm greeted with a smile and asked how I'm doing today. This isn't the only liquor store with great employees, but it's one of the few. Most others are dry, not friendly (not mean either), and not very personable. The store has mostly everything I normally want to purchase, so it's a go-to spot for me.
