I went in the Family Dollar/Dollar General across from the old Edison School. I usually only come here for emergencies. This particular day, there was a young lady at the register, and she was so nice and customer friendly. I watched her with the customers. She was the same with everyone. It was the type of energy that spreads. Her vibe was happy!! When I got to the register, I told her not to change her energy, because it's rare you find happy people these days, especially in customer service. Normally when you go in the store, there is so much unprofessionalism. Boxes all in the aisles. No one says that you cannot have fun at work, but it is a business. Just be aware of your surroundings regarding your customers. We all know it is "the hood" store, but sadly that's an excuse. We want stores that we feel comfortable and proud to shop in without having to drive a country mile to get that. Corporate also needs to fix their stocking issue, because it's clearly an issue at all of their stores. Go ahead and spend the money and hire a midnight crew for stocking so your customers don't have to maneuver around boxes in the day time, which is a safety issue and trip hazard. You should also hire a crew to unload the trucks on delivery day. The day the truck comes doesn't change. This will help to change the cleanliness of the store during the day and require less re-stocking so your employees can be available to your customers improving customer service. Just an opinion.

The employees at this location always looks like they were hired off the streets because they never in uniform or wear name tags . their unprofessional and don’t even greet or acknowledge Customers when they walk up to the register to check-out, and not alone they don’t even ask “did you find everything ok” to make sure the Customers is satisfied while shopping at this location … I don’t who is the Store Manager at this location and other managers who helps with the operations of the store but they need to get it together and have employees in uniform with a “Name Tag” on. Because if I worked for Family Dollar Corporate Office and walked inside of the store as a secret shopper and saw how screwed up it is the Store manager would be in big trouble! Please fix this problem!

Why do your employees smell like Marijuana all at the front counter wow not good Custer service... It really spells as soon as you walk up to the register employee look high and smell high wow you all got to do better with the employees on drugs

If you're in an upbeat, sunny and want to bop this is the store for you! This store is LIT y'all, they had Ice Cube beating hard like a step daddy, it was VERY neat & clean. Employees had on mask it felt like I was walking up to the family barbecue with the displays. Just need more ? Pits and Tents. Fun store right here.

So I buy this lego item for the kid peace’s are missing technically is a return for the money or new item if u got the ticket but no the person there was rude for my understanding manager and another member talking bad and treated to take me out of the store for trying to exchange or get my money back wow really ((((FAMILY ))))dollar Jajaj they are a joke

Today is June 25, 2021 and they closed and locked the doors 45 mins (It is now 8:30 pm) before they are supposed to close. I don’t appreciate it. Yes I’m snitching because this is an on going thing.. need to do better smh
