By far the worst postal office I have ever dealt with. They are extremely rude on the phone. Multiple times our mail has been “held at post office per customer request” when we never requested that or told that they decided not to deliver it.We have also had multiple passive aggressive notes left on our mail because some companies send it to State road 64 which the post office says doesn’t exist. They claim it’s Highway 64. The street sign in front of the post office says STATE ROAD 64. We can’t help it if it’s changed by the shipper we put it as HIGHWAY like they ask.Fix your systems routing and do your JOB!If the address can be put in your system to create a label then that sounds like your system needs fixed. You would think of a address didn’t exist your system would flag the shipper before creating it.By far the worst part of Georgetown.

Since I have moved to Georgetown 10 years ago, the local post office here has LOST more of my mail than the prior 55 year of my life.Additionally, when perfectly addressed mail gets returned to me, they want to charge me second time to send it again. This post office has an employee that is unfriendly. Noticed other reviews have made reference to her.

My postal workers are the best. They are all very professional, courteous and proficient at their job. Thank you Georgetown, IN postal workers.

The local station manager needs to do her job and ensure the mail gets out. I have noticed more often that mail isn't being delivered on Saturdays and then the mailbox is full on Mondays. Either she is inept, is malfeasant, or is covering for systemic failures like not ensuring routes are properly staffed. I'm half-waiting for some news report about found mail from the Georgetown Post Office location. NALC and APWU members should be ashamed of themselves, too.

I'm very sick and tired of the post office not delivering the mail. We get emails every day of what packages or mail is supposed to be delivered that day. Most Fridays and Saturdays the mail isn't being delivered. Seems to me that the post master needs to be investigated. This laziness should not be allowed. Do your job.

Her name will be forthcoming, but there is a nice lady and an extremely mean grump of a woman. The mean lady has medium length brownish hair and is stocky. Nice lady pulled out a roll of packing tape from behind counter and was too kind to oblige and fix a tear that was required to send my package. Mean grump woman says ‘we dont have tape. You can buy some.’ Sorry but the Ups store at highlander point will be getting all of my business.

There is a woman that works here who is extremely rude. Her snide comments makes me think she did minimum wage positions her entire existence and is totally burnt out with regard to them. I will not be posting her name for privacy’s sake, however, she has medium-length brown hair to her shoulders. Stay away, my viewers. Thanks!

No local phone number, had to call the USPS customer service when all I needed was a local number to be able to see if my actual package was at that actual location. Had to wait 40 minutes on the phone, but if there was a local number there's no way it would take this long. How is it helpful to ask people who aren't working at the location? This is a huge waste of time.

Sometimes it's like they skip my whole neighborhood. 24k of my income a year comes through the mail. I usually use it on my bills and keep my work money for the bank. Sometimes it's like they come at noon, then the next day they don't get there till after 5pm. Their super inconsistent and sometimes inconsiderate.

Mail carriers don't always deliver packages. They would rather leave the pink cards in my mailbox then drive up my gravel driveway if the package won't fit in my mailbox. Other times they will! It's ridiculous!! Be consistent. Just do your job and deliver mail. It's not like my driveway is a gauntlet. It's actually very well kept for a gravel driveway.

We have had a P.O. box for over 40 years and Jackie at the post office would rather send things back if it has a rural address than do her job and put it in the P.O. box in the post office. Sad case of laziness and common courtesy.

I bring up packages all ready to go and they won't even scan them in. They are not busy when I ask they say they do it when they go out. Sometimes I need it done then and the post master is very rude told me to take my package to New Albany. Isaid if they don't have e Georgetowns add then they don't get credit. If I ask then they should do it. I scheduled a pick up also and they never got picked up. This post office is screwed up when I called about my packages being picked up the guy told me he call me back now it's after hours and he hasn't called my packages still sitting on my back porch. He never called me back
