I had a situation where I had a refund check from the post office that was made out to my DBA (doing business as) instead of myself. I tried to deposit it remotely but when that wasn't successful, I brought it in (along with my nursery license). Generally Martin's is where I do my banking (I love being able to take care of banking and shopping with one stop) and the teller was familiar with me. I was able to deposit the check (it was only for $18) in my account, and she told me if there were any issues with it I should know within a week to ten days.
