“If you ask customers and manufacturers in the Elkhart area for recommendations on where to go for any hitch related issues, most if not all will say Dan’s Hitch/Dan’s Service Center and for good reason. They know what they are doing. They are knowledgeable and professional and in this writer’s opinion will do what ever they can to fix a problem even if one doesn’t have an appointment. We have used Dan’s on several occasions over the past 10 years; the most recent being yesterday. We called on Wednesday to ask if they could diagnose and hopefully fix a problem with our tow vehicle. Although we didn’t have an appointment, they found a slot for us yesterday and within an hour determined what the problem was and fixed it. One last thing about Dan’s, he is not in business to be your best friend, but he is in business to fix your problem and get you back on the road. And in this regard, the owner responds very well to a principle of patience and kindness. Show patience and kindness towards the owner and he will respond in a similar manner. That principle really does work at Dan’s.”

I cannot say enough wonderful things about Jeremy and the service I received from their shop. Jeremy arrived quickly to tow my vehicle and was a calming force when I was a little shaken from the mishap. He later thoroughly explained the repairs that were needed, promptly ordered the necessary parts, and worked with my insurance company to get the process started. I just picked up my vehicle today, which was completed much quicker than I expected, and it looks and drives like new. I highly recommend Precision Auto & Body to anyone who finds themself in a similar situation. They are a knowledgeable, honest, and customer-service oriented business. “I have had multiple car repair services performed over the years from this establishment. Repairs such as alternator, car starter and coolant line replacements for my former vehicle.
My most recent experience was just as awesome as the others. I had my newest vehicle towed there for an unexpected unrepairable front tire replacement on the verge of this year’s Memorial Day weekend. I was worried that I wouldn’t be able to have the car fixed that same day.
I am so thankful Rick’s shop was able to replace the tire and have it ready for pick up several hours later.
