I would like to commend Tracy L. Eichenseer as a top veterinarian,,,,in my opinion. My pup has had very few instances of needing immediate care, however; whenever something comes up, Dr E. is always there to solve the problem. My dog is 13 years old and has been with the Kryder clinic from the start. They do an outstanding job and are extremely attentive to current issues with pets. I highly recommend this business.

Well this review is way overdue, and i wish i could rate this experience WAY below 1 star. There were definately NO STARS earned here. I regretably and unfortunately recommended Kryders Veterinary Clinic to close friends of mine who adopted an adorable petite kitten from Pet Refuge, they named her Dottie. When she was just over a year old they took her in for an appt with Dr. Morton, for first vaccinations. When Dr. MORTON was administering her shots he commented that he would "never be able to work at an all cat clinic". (WOW! Obviously has a dislike for cats) He than proceeds to say that she wont need her Rabies vaccination for 3 yrs., because he gave her a 3 year dose. (Kerp in mind she only weighed 4.5 lbs, and just barely a year old). (Maybe, error on the side of caution for the pets well-being, and give a 1 yr. dose due to her small size, AND/or maybe discuss this with the client BEFORE administering it.) Well he should know best,.. he is the vet right? A few days go by and Dottie won't eat, and she is very lathargic. They called Kryders Vet Clinic for an appt, since they have all of Dotties records, and request a different vet. Of course not going back to CAT HATER Dr. MORTON, .. They surely can't all be that incompetent. Appt with Dr. COVEY at KVC, ... She said Dottie was having a reaction to the vaccinations. To Dr.Covey's credit, she said Dottie should have been given a 1 year dose, not a 3yr dose. (But please don't let her moment of clarity fool you). So now, to combat the vacccination overdose by Dr. Morton, Dr. COVEY magically comes up with a steroid and pain med doseage amount for the prescriptions to be given multiple x's a day to Dottie. The next visit, 1 week later, no better,... Dr. COVEY finally reverts back to vet school 101 and decides to run blood work, and of course has to make adjustments to her original prescriptions, both the meds and the daily dosage amounts. This continues on for weeks...with weekly charges for every visit, every test, every prescription. ( Keep in mind that she admitted that Dr. Morton basically overdosed Dottie with the vaccinations). After many weeks of nothing but broken hope, and trial and error, Dr. COVEY THAN decides she wants to send bloodwork to Purdue. so they agree; of course not wanting to give up yet, and again, given another glimmer of hope.... ... now waiting on results....over 5 days go by, Dottie has now gone blind. By now I'm sure you know where this is going... . And where Dottie has gone. Dottie and my friends G and L, suffered through this disaster of errors for 2+ months.... I referred them to this hell they were put through, I am so sorry. I'm so so sorry little Dottie.

RUN!! Do not bring your beloved pet HERE! Dr. Marriah diagnosed my dog with cancer from barely looking at him, she told us "to prepare ourselves for the worst". She then gave him Prednisone, without properly telling us how dangerous this drug was. The staff is unbelievably RUDE, never remembered who we were, or our dog. Nor did they bother to keep a database apparently, as everytime we called, they had no idea who we were or why we were calling. They didn't return my calls to schedule a follow-up appointment, nor did the Doctor when we asked to have her call us to explain her cryptic email about this drug and it's dangers AFTER, she failed to call us back for Thursday - Monday, that's right folks 5 days!!!! While our beloved pet suffered.

These people are unbelievable! They have no compassion and aren't willing to take responsibility for THEIR mistakes. I called after I had adopted some small pets and asked about being seen coats and everything. Gave my name, info, and spoke with TWO different people. NO ISSUES. I show up on a Saturday from literally the south side of south bend, and they tell me oh we won't see you bc you have a balance that was written off 20 YEARS ago! No one mentioned they wouldn't see me and when I explained it wasn't even my balance that my mother had brought her pet in under my account they still didn't care that that's why I didn't know about it. I was willing to pay something on the old balance to have my pets seen and they refused. Said no pay the full balance plus what is due today or we won't see your pets. I will never use this vet and will never recommend them. Horrible!

I have seen several different vets at Kryder Veterinary Clinic, and they are all excellent (Dr. Kryder, Dr. Morton, Dr. Covey). They provide thoughtful care of my Great Dane who has great anxiety when going to the vet, and are extremely responsive in providing recommendations via email or on the phone when I am not available to come in for an appointment / for minor issues. I live in Chicago but travel out here for veterinary care whenever possible, because I've found the quality of care to be significantly superior here.
