I had a terrible car buying experience here.
I came from out of state with my pregnant fiancé to purchase a Porsche. They were inattentive and unwelcoming throughout the process, despite us being the only customers. I asked several times if there were any issues with the car and I was only given their word. We barely made it to town before a coolant and oil leak became noticeable, and the engine started to overheat. I had to pay for a tow the rest of the way to a foreign auto shop. A week and just over $4000 later, it's running (so far). Not only did Gray Auto not care, they lied to my face several times.
A month later, I had to call multiple times and file a complaint with the Indiana Secretary of State once they exceeded their legal time frame to get the title documents mailed. Originally it was blamed on the notary process, then on the title clerk never being around. They were extremely unprofessional over the phone, and overall. I'm just glad to finally be done with them and try to enjoy this car, but I would not return nor would I recommend them.

I bought a Jeep from Dusty and Brandon. They both were personable and very knowledgeable. By far the easiest purchase I have ever made. I would highly recommend Gray Auto!

Don't be deceived by all the positive reviews about Gray Auto Brokers. I bought a 2016 Chevy Cruze there June 17, 2024. I believe I was sold a lemon of a car. I've had two major repairs within the coolant system diagnosed as of July 25, 2024. The first problem was overheating/coolant leak which was diagnosed as the water outlet housing needing to be totally replaced at a cost of $250. Around ten days later, coolant continued leaking leading to the second major problem: the water pump needed to be replaced at a cost of $750.
While addressing the problem with the water pump, the mechanic noticed that the engine fan wasn't operating correctly. He said the engine fan was not operating on its first two speeds and only operating on the third, highest speed. The module that controls the fan was malfunctioning badly. The way the module and engine fan are developed and manufactured, a mechanic can't just replace the module separately, the entire engine fan assembly had to be replaced at an estimated cost of $550. He recommended that the engine fan assembly needed to be replaced sooner rather than later. I'm currently awaiting an appointment on a second opinion on the engine fan.
During the coolant system assessment, it was brought to my attention that the bypass and bleeder hoses to the radiator had grown soft and worn out due to an oil additive that was in the coolant system prior to purchase. These hoses need to be replaced sooner rather than later at an estimated cost of $400. I'm currently awaiting an appointment on a second opinion on these radiator hoses.
While all of the three previous problems were being addressed, the brakes began to squeak and grind. The front rotor and brake pads were totally worn out and had to be replaced and the back brakes were very dirty and had to be adjusted and cleaned up at a total cost of $400. So that will be the fourth major problem that needs to be addressed in five weeks of owning this lemon of a car! I will NEVER recommend this place of business again. Buyer beware of Gray Auto Brokers!

My Father bought a truck there 2 years ago. Dad Loves the truck. But about a month ago he heard rattling in the back. The back crossmember that holds the spare tire rusted through on both sides and is just flopping up and down. And on the driver's side that is where the shock is hooked up at. My dad bought this truck for about 24k. He was 78 when he bought it. If it rusted out in 2 years then it wasn't worthy to sell in the first place. All we wanted was them to pay half of it. They refused. So I will make it my mission to let everyone know this place can't be trusted. He's 80 now and has a truck that I would be afraid to drive. If they sold one that was about rusted through, it's hard telling what else they let slip by? Buyer beware

Fantastic place for service or buying a vehicle. Local company with quality pre-owned vehicles. Better than stealership and guys who want to sell a car.

Quick service for an oil change but you do have to set up an appointment as they are very busy. Staff were cordial and friendly enough.

They say they checked the cars out but they will sell you a car with obvious ball joint issuesThey will sell you a warranty that when you take it back for one of those issues on the warranty they say it's not covered. A car that keeps dying and should be covered under the warranty they act like they can't find out what the issue is and do nothing.3000 for an extended warranty that's worthless.
