Hancock Regional Hospital has provided Hancock County with the services of a full-service community hospital with a focus on primary care, patient comfort and convenience. The hospital offers a high percentage of private rooms and a highly skilled medical and professional nursing staff. Patients report amazing experiences for surgery and doctor appointments, with one patient grateful for the hospital. A follow-up mammogram was excellent, with one staff member described as awesome, kind, and personable. Another visit was excellent from the front office through the exam, with a very caring staff who make patients feel comfortable. One patient felt wonderful after a clean test result, noting that staff were so wonderful through a tough period. A mother delivered a baby girl and found the Labor and Delivery unit exceptional, with every single nurse kind, patient, and helpful. The experience from labor to an unexpected c section to postpartum recovery was wonderful, with knowledgeable and sweet nurses.
