I had a fantastic experience with the location on US31. An idiot ran a red light and hit my car. I was not happy about it but the service person at Budget immediately got me in a vehicle and on my way.

Reserved a lift-gate truck went and they took my deposit and then informed me they didn't have the truck I needed. I left with out the truck I needed and still haven't got my deposit back.

Do not use this location. Very unreliable and unprofessional. I made the reservation a week ago; hours before the move, they text me and said unfortunately they don’t have a truck. Go with another location or company.

customer service was abysmal. called this location to see availability, never reached them and always was pushed to a national line. the national line either are overworked or underpaid or just straight rude, i was ready to rent a truck but when i asked if the size i wanted was available they said they don’t see that information. when i check online for the actual location i was going to rent from they have absolutely NO trucks, so they’re fine taking your money without verifying if they can even provide you with the only service you’re requesting. just go penskedespite how bad i knew it would be, i would’ve still rented the truck, but these three reasons were the red flags that made me post this review1) the customer service was rude and dismissive. they treated me asking if a truck was available as if i was being a nuisance, what’s your job besides renting out these vehicles? that type of question shouldn’t have elicited any rude answer. as a consumer we must do our due diligence to ensure we’re paying for a service that will actually be provided.2) i never was able to even contact the location. no matter how hard i tried, looking at websites and asking customer service to give me their direct number to this location, i only could reach the national line3) finding out the truck wasnt even available, so customer service being annoyed that i wouldn’t blindly give them my card information and proceeding to find out i would’ve been screwed made me angry enough to want to tell other people to go penske

I visited the avis/budget car rental located at greenwod with my brother in law to pick up a rental car, this location is conveniently located at US 31 near Greenwood mall. My first impression of the location is a mixed bag, the office is small and not managed very well, I can see that it has not even been vacuumed in weeks, there are floor rugs lying in a pile right in front of customs service area. We were greeted by the prison in duty but I cold feel no way of customer service, no smile nothing, he helped us getting our car we reserved and we picked and tookoff. I think they can do better and make sure that this store has better appeal.

Worst rental car location..Melissa rented us the car, she was grumpy and very impolite and the car had a smoke smell and she refused to give us another car.. I had an upgrade coupon, she argued that i didn't..when I showed that I did..she said the car i am getting is not a full size but a premium car (Chevy impala), and it is clearly not...I wish i good give negative feedback and employees like Melissa are a disgrace to budget. I never want to rent again from this location

Hands down the most rude staff of any location... ever. Very short, dismissive and disrespectful. The annoyance in their tone and their face and body language says they'd rather not be bothered for anything. I can't imagine a better place to shut down or restaff with better people.

The manager there has a serious problem. She always has an attitude and really not a peoples person. Wish I could rate her less than 1. Horrible service

I had the worst car rental experience of my life at the Greenwood location. Melissa was rude to me from the moment I walked in. She tossed my credit card and ID back across the counter at me, tossed the receipt at me, shut the office door in my face, the car was caked with mud all over, she refused to explain the charges on my receipt to me, lied about the mileage on the vehicle (I have images with time stamp of the mileage when I started the car), and treated me like I was the worst person she had ever interacted with. I was in such a good mood when I walked in there, and I left very upset. I returned the car back to them within 45 minutes and took my business elsewhere. I called corporate and they filed a complaint against her as well.

Set up and reserved truck a month in advance. They call me 30 minutes before I am supposed to be at their location to say there is no truck for me to pick up! Gave me no options , say corporate gave truck to someone else. Will never use Budget again. Btw...Penske was able to put me in a truck with the very short notice given to them.

The Front Desk lady was extremely rude. I will never rent from Budget Again. They really need to step their Customer Service game up if they expect to retain customers.
