My first visit to Dreyer & Reinbold BMW South has far exceeded my expectations and I wish I could give 10 stars. First and foremost the complimentary Dove hot chocolate is amazing ? ?. My vehicle required parts to be ordered and my service advisor Tony advised me as if I was family and my vehicle was his. He arranged a loaner vehicle so I had transportation and communicated status via text. Tony also took the time to listen to any concerns I had. The ladies at the Service Desk were good to me too they took several (ok a lot) of my calls and got me to the right place. The parts were delayed but I was extended a discount and a car wash to make up for it! The cherry on top was when I picked up my vehicle the service advisors answered all my questions and gave me excellent tips. Tony you are the epitome of customer service and I look forward to working with you and the Dreyer Team in the future!

Joey G. truly delivered high quality customer service by providing me with frank and honest information about BMWs! After talking with him I knew what questions to ask to ensure I was getting a solid used X5. I stumbled upon Joey G and Dreyer and Reinbold while searching for the perfect used X5. I live in Cincy and found one in Indy! I didn’t purchase it thanks to Joey’s advice. Later that day I bought one in Cincy. I will certainly make the drive from Cincy to have my X5 serviced at Dreyer and Reinbold. Thanks Joey!!!

When it arrived, Jim made sure it was delivered to me exactly how I wanted the vehicle. He worked with me on making sure I understood the nuances of the car and even options for extended warranty. My vehicle broke down while I was out of town and in Northwestern Indiana in the middle of the night on a Saturday. It was towed to Dreyer and Rainbold on a Sunday. Joey and Joe in the service department kept in constant contact with me. The repairs were extensive and my vehicle had just gone over on miles for the warranty. Though this is hours from where I live, the team worked with BMW USA and my local dealer to overnight the parts, get the repairs covered and my vehicle fixed. I am grateful for their diligence to a customer they knew may never see again do to being out of town. That is what I call service.

I’ll start by saying that my current 2021 X3 M40i is my 4th consecutive leased BMW (all leased in California) and the first one I’ve purchased outright at the end of the lease term.In today’s world of electric and paperless everything, where you can buy and sell cars 100% online without ever needing to set foot in a dealership, it’s absolutely ridiculous that BMW and Dreyer Reinbold require that I drive an hour from my home for an in-person appointment to buy out my lease.Even more ridiculous was that most of the needed information I provided the day before via email and took the whole appointment took less than 15 minutes.Additionally, the in-person signature process was done electronically.When I asked Robert M why this couldn’t be done electronically/remotely he said it could but that this dealership doesn’t.I will also add that Robert was borderline rude and definitely not on par with the BMW service I have previously experienced over the life of four lease terms.This how companies and brands lose customers.If I purchase another BMW at some point (and I’m sure I will) it will not be through this dealership.Shop around.There are other BMW dealers out there.

If you're trying to get an alignment at the BMW dealership, you might as well keep it in your garage or else they're going to keep it in theirs. I made an appointment for September 18th at 2:30 pm. I came early because I wanted them to have some leeway to work on other vehicles in case they had some cars in their service bay. My advisor Eric Grabovsky was nice and pretty informative when going through the process of checking in. I tell him that I'll be leaving to go do other stuff while I wait for my car to get serviced. I leave around 2:47 because that was when I received the text message that I can message anytime during the visit. I'm gone for a few hours and get a little worried because I haven't received a single update. I call them at 5:04 and they tell me that the car hasn't been serviced yet and that Eric is currently occupied. I'm confused on why an ALIGNMENT would take 3 hours to do. I get there around 5:45 and go into the dealership livid. I just want my car at this point. A sales worker comes out from his office and after telling him that I just want my car, he tells me that the car is LOCKED and I won't be able to get it today. You're telling me I drove an hour to go to the this dealership and waited 3 and a half hours to leave my car in their garage? Yeah okay. I'm pissed at this point. I might as well not have even came and just left my alignment as is. He goes and gets a manager and I'm outside complaining on the phone that I'm not going to get my car because I MADE AN APPOINTMENT and WAITED OVER 3 HOURS for an alignment. It's around 6 now and the manager comes out and says that he cannot open the garage to get my car. He also says that there isn't any paperwork(?) I made an appointment on their website, bring it to the dealership before 2:30, and watched Eric literally print out my paperwork, and you're telling me there is no paperwork on my car. How does this even make sense. I show him the email that I made the appointment, show him the texts that I received from the dealership, and show him when I called to get an update, which I didn't even get. At this point I'm expecting not to get my car. The dealership service area closed at 5:30 and the dealership doesn't close till 7:30. After a few minutes of waiting the manager and a service worker comes out and tells me that I can now get my car, UNSERVICED. I'm just happy that I got my car before they actually locked up the whole dealership because there is no way I want to come back here. They also told me that a service manager will call me tomorrow. I thought going to a BMW dealership would be better than going to an indy shop, well I was wrong.

I had traveled from my home near Chicago to Columbus, IN, on business and while driving back to the hotel after dinner my “check engine” light came on. I searched online for the nearest dealer (which was Dreyer & Reinbold South, 30 miles away) and called the Service Department when they opened the next morning. Tony was absolutely wonderful, helping to diagnose the cause of the malfunction over the phone (with the help of a nearby AutoZone) and recommending a course of action that allowed me to complete my business in Columbus. He suggested that I stop by the dealer on my way home to make sure everything was safe for the nearly 200 mile trip. I did, they checked the car, and assured me that it was safe to drive. Tony and his crew were kind, efficient, competent, and did all of this at no charge. Can’t recommend this dealer highly enough.

Jim Bowden comes highly recommended based on his candidness, his flexibility and his patience. I stopped in to see him 4 times over the course of 4 months and eventually, we found the perfect vehicle for me. Jim never hassled me, he contacted me via text only because I told him that was the best way and was so extremely knowledgeable!! Hands down, come see Jim- even if you don't think you want a BMW, he will get you where you need to be! Thank you Jim!!!!

Jim Bowden comes highly recommended, based on his patience, his candidness, willingness to listen, and his flexibility. I stopped in to see him 4 times over the course of 4 months. I had no idea what kind of vehicle I was looking for. He stayed in contact without nagging, and was willing to talk whenever I had the time. Together, we explored leases, pre-owned purchases and electric vehicles. Eventually, we found the perfect vehicle. I continued to come back to D & R soley because of Jim! Thank you!

No one like to be side swipes with mechanical problems but Tony definitely helped me get my bearings and create a plan to prevent me from figuring out transportation and also keeping in scheudle to leave town. Jim Bowden helped me trade in my my Forester for a Miata in their used inventory. The experience was painless, to the point, and quite frankly Jim was awesome to talk shop about cars and the hobbies that come with it. Jim Bowden... Hands down the best to work with. We went in with intentions of buying a BMW. Jim knew the vehicles on the lot and could answer any questions. He went out of his way to make sure we were comfortable with the purchase and was not pushy at all. He even went out of his way to get us the all-season floor mats we wanted. Customer service goes a long way and Jim has that genuine hospitality and is there to help out and does a great job. We will see you for our next purchase, Jim!

Recently I have contacted Jim Bowden to purchase a vehicle. He gave me all the required information about Bmw 5 series and helped me a lot with the documentation. If you’re looking for an amazing salesman, look no further, Jim Bowden is your guy! He’s been incredible to work with during the buying process. I was looking at buying a used car on their lot and he helped me through the process. Not only did he make sure that I knew of any repairs in the foreseeable future, he also was in my corner as a buyer, not as a salesman. He was more into looking out for me than making a quick buck. He’s honest, has excellent communication, and personable. I’ll definitely be back to see him when I’m looking for another car!
