Twice I have been in the store to purchase a keyboard and ca not get sales staff to spend time with me talking about the different keyboards. The guy standing next tow me today in the store said he was just happy if they answered one question. i bought online from them they described the item as an amp and it was really a speaker they were not going to tell me on the phone thats what angered me most they were goin to let me drive there to find out i may give them another chance someday

They're ok. Customer service is subpar and a they won't hesitate to let you know they're stressed/busy to the point they're pissed. To make matters worse I sold them a boutique pedal that was $130 and all they offered was $30 some dollars stating "thats about as high as i can go, sorry bud!". He was quite sly.I was very polite with him frankly so not sure why. Can't remember his name but he has blonde hair and glasses.

Great service. I came in for a last-minute Christmas gift.. My 6yo boy wanted drums, and I didn't want a headache, so I decided to go electronic.I came in and talked to the guy working there, and he said he had an open box kit. Took $100 off, threw in a set of sticks and a stool!That's how you do business! In a few years, I'll be back to spend 4k on an acoustic set.

Matt was extremely helpful with an in store purchase today. He was polite, attentive and courteous. When we couldn’t locate an F335NT, he was more than willing to assist me in choosing an F series Yamaha gigpack. His customer service was outstanding. Good job, young man!

I’m really saddened to write this as I’ve never encountered such lack of customer service at Guitar Center. When attempting to sell speakers that were in really good condition with my husband with hopes to purchase more items within the store. We were told by the manager that they, Guitar Center, was not able to accept one of the smaller speakers due to space in the back and then proceeded to underprice us for Rokit KRK speakers that were much larger. When we mentioned that we were given a different price over the phone he began to question us with a sarcastic tone saying, “Where?!” We proceeded to say the location in Castleton and he replied, “Well, it’s sounds like you need to go there instead!” I was shocked by his tone towards my husband who was pretty amiable, and I noticed how the employees face began to react with shock due to his response!Due to not wanting to make the employees job hard, we decided to move forward with the sell of one of the set of speakers and thanked the employee for his customer service and help and left immediately to spend our money elsewhere! I really wish I got his name, he deserves to be acknowledged for how he dealt with the conflict his manager started due to his amiable character and willingness to help!All in all, due to this experience, we will not be shopping or partaking in any other business with this location. I also don’t recommend this location to any person of color who is genuinely looking to trade or sell at this location, I can’t help but reflect on how we were treated differently by the manager in comparison to the other customers and it’s really disheartening, especially when this store sells items that celebrates and creates music that is universal and welcoming to all, and unfortunately that wasn’t our experience.

Logan helped me to get a very nice electric guitar setup, with the guitar, replacement strings, Amp, case, and cable. I am incredibly thankful to Logan and his associates for helping me and being very patient with me, especially since I didn't really know what all I wanted to get when I walked in.They were also handling a very difficult customer very well, remaining calm and collected and staying kind the whole time even when the customer wasn't.12/10 service

Won’t be returning. 3 employees standing at the counter talking about Star Wars and their Shrek album on vinyl versus asking customers if they need anything. I guess customer service is gone now days since a person has to ask to be helped.
