First time to Macy's Back Stage (clearance area). Good shopping for cost conscious buyers. Most things I saw under $30. Bought 2 dresses for my wife for Christmas. Does have a return policy, just in case...

I give Macy's 2 out of 5 stars. I have fond memories of shopping with my grandmother here when I was younger. My grandpa used to take all her credit cards so she couldn't use them, and Macy's was one that didn't require her to physically have the card; she could just show proof of her identity & have easy access to her card. It was always amusing when my grandpa would receive his bill. It literally happened every month. It's sad to see the state of the store, these days.

Store is clean and well organized. Staff seemed more attentive to keeping it that way then assisting customers in serval departments. Overall a better than average visit.

If I could give ZERO as a review, this would be the perfect example.My experience with Macy's has been nothing short of unacceptable.On December 16th, I drove to Greenwood from Danville to make a return of some mens fragrance. I bought an in store credit so that I could simply use it at Macy's where I had the option of a full cash refund. The return process has been a complete joke. No one was listening to what the issue was, they only seemed to want to get me out of their line to be done with me. After many attempts to get an e gift card, I still do not have my refund nor my product that I returned nor an in store credit. They wouldn't provide me a receipt and the ops manager Christopher will not accept my calls or return my call. So I am out $90 and Christmas is in days. Macy's has dropped the ball in a major way. They still have not fixed my return and I've been calling Christopher since MONDAY all day where is my e gift card or a full refund? This is unacceptable. Thank you, Macy's, for providing the most subpar service Ive had to date.

Had not been to Macy’s for a while, and I was pleasantly surprised how clean and bright it was. They had a lot of stock and I can’t wait to go back when I have more time to shop.I went for an Estée Lauder purchase. And got the best best customer service from Kathy M at the Estée Lauder counter. Thank you thank you— we don’t get great customer service like that everywhere these days!
