I have replaced the starter of my Honda van. The only thing I am unhappy about same part , I get from autozone is 180$ with tax and Meineke charging me 300$ for same part. Even shop get more discount from contracted auto part provider. Rest were ok and when I ask reply was very rude, instead reply nicely.

I do not recommend meineke in Greenwood. I went there for an oil change special which I thought was a good deal. When they completed the oil change they quoted me some very expensive maintenance and repairs to which I declined. When I got home I realized one of my hubcaps was missing. I knew it was on my vehicle when I left to go get the oil change. I also never heard, seen, or felt anything fly or fall off my vehicle on the way to greenwood to get my oil changed. I called meineke about the missing hubcap. They talked to the technician that worked on my car and they said that my hubcap was not there. He also stated that it was already off when I took my vehicle in and that they never removed the hubcaps and tires. The most interesting thing is that in the email they sent me they said they did an oil change and tire rotation. So how can you do a tire rotation without removing the tires and hubcaps? The hubcap that went missing had some dents in it and a hole. It wasn't one if the prettiest ones I had. However, I am almost certain that they lied about the hubcap. If it broke while they tried to remove it or something happened to it, I would rather them be honest about it. However, their response was dishonest and I just do not trust this company or the meineke establishment in greenwood. The cheap oil changes are not worth it.

These guys could not have been more fair and cool to me. My car was damaged in a hit and run and had my car towed here. Meineke did an excellent job keeping in touch with me and running diagnostics on my vehicle right away. My car ended up needing an entirely new engine. I decided not to have it fixed but to just buy a new car all together. Needless to say every penny counted and that point and Meineke did not charge me anything. The professionals at Meineke were extremely helpful and made my time of peril much more bearable.

Worst mechanics, regional manager, and franchise owner! PLEASE take your business elsewhere! This happened several months ago but am finally mentally recovered to write about it. On or about June 28th of 2023 my check engine light came on in my 2015 Lincoln Navigator. I had the code read at AutoZone, and it came back as spark plugs, and coil pack issue. Took my vehicle to the Greenwood location because I had used them before, and they could get me in quickly (as we were travelling for the 4th of July). They called me the next day and said it was only the spark plugs, and I told them to do the work ($648.00). Picked the vehicle up on Friday June 30th. Pulled out, and two minutes later the check engine light came back on, and I went right back. They said when they do the fuel injector cleaning, it sometimes messes with the sensors. Cleared the code and told me if it comes back on to bring it back Monday. The code came back on the next day, and I brought it back that Monday. They told me I needed a new catalytic converter and muffler to fix the problem. Told them to go ahead and do the work ($1,157.68). Of course, the car wasn't ready for our travel on the 4th of July and had to rent a car. After a snafu with them running out of welding wire, I pick the vehicle up on July 8th. The result was unsatisfactory. The truck ran WORSE and was chugging to get up to speed with no power. They tried to tell me I needed new turbos also. I brought the truck back on July 10th and said I don't care what they have to do, but I wasn't paying another cent and they needed to fix it. They took it to their "master mechanic", and I received a VM July 26 saying they got it "to go 60 mph" which apparently is the new standard for fixing a car. Arranged to pick up the truck (as we were leaving for vacation) and they called and said it wasn't ready. Had to rent another vehicle for my vacation. When I finally picked up the truck after vacation, it still ran terribly, and it sounded like it had an exhaust leak. By this point, they had my vehicle for over a month, and I just wanted to be done. Since the check engine light came back on shortly after picking it up again (and the code was the same as before), I took it to Greene's on Morgantown Rd. They had the truck for an hour before determining at least 2 of the spark plugs were cracked (meaning when they were installed, they were over torqued and cracked the porcelain). Told them to go ahead, and they discovered 4 of the 6 plugs were cracked (fixed it for $325). See attached picture. Picked it up and ran like a top. So, I go back to this location and ask for my money back because, ONE, the original job of replacing the spark plugs was not done correctly, and TWO, all the exhaust work DIDN'T NEED TO BE DONE IN THE FIRST PLACE! I was told for my warranty to be good, I had to bring it back to them for repair (WHICH I DID 3 TIMES!!!). Chris, the district manager said they could give me a free tune up. Well Chris, after lighting $1805.68 on fire, a $200 tune up wasn't going to cut it. I opened a case at Meineke corporate, and they said I needed to get satisfaction from the franchise owner myself (which I was unsuccessful, hence my complaint to corporate). If I can't get satisfaction from the franchise owner, and the corporate entity doesn't do anything on behalf of customers, I'm taking my case here to the reviews. Scott, I hope you/your kids/wife or girlfriend, or boyfriend had a GREAT CHRISTMAS with my $1800. I know my four boys would have had a better one had I not wasted my money here. This franchise owner clearly doesn't care about the community he serves.TLDR: These guys suck from the franchise owner down to the mechanics and know nothing about doing the right thing. Greene's Auto Service in Greenwood does quality work at a much lower price.

They charged me $133 for and alignment and told me I needed some other things done to the tune of $1,800. Nope! I will not be back. Matter of fact a friend of mine did the job for $640 and even told me what they charge me for I didn't need..

My family has been longtime customers of Meineke. Unfortunately we won’t be using them moving forward. My daughter took her car their in May for an oil change. Unbeknownst to us, they left the oil cap off and we didn’t figure this out until much later when my daughter smelled burning oil and my husband checked to find out the oil was completely empty. We took it back and they said they looked back on video and confirmed their technician did make this error. We understand that mistakes happen and simply asked them to make sure there was no damage to which they said everything was fine. Fast forward a couple weeks and my daughter broke down on the side of the road. We had the car towed to them to which they said we just needed a new battery. We paid and replaced the battery and now shortly after all the lights are on again. Now they are telling us there’s an additional $450.00 worth of work necessary and trying to charge us for another oil change. Mind you my daughter drives very locally and it definitely should not need an oil change. My husband talked to the manager and he said they would not be doing anything to make this right and refused to provide us with the owners contact information. Please beware of the poor service here.
